Another Love

Chapter 11

Tay'ra felt herself almost floating. As though, she was being lifted up.

She felt a heartbeat, beating throughout her body, completely.

Feeling tired.

She opens her eyes slowly, finding herself asleep on the rock she was sat at last night.

Tay'ra lay there, as she sound of the heartbeat. The feeling of it.. it didn't seem to go away.

"Eywa.." she mutters out.

It was just like she said. It was like she was able to hear Eywa's heartbeat.

But unlike how she usually did, it was a lot less bearable, as it began to hurt her.

She grunts, almost trying to scream in an agonising pain, and yet, she could not speak.

Tay'ra could not call out or cry for help, as she felt all this pressure being pushed onto her, having no idea what was going on.

"Tay'ra?" She hears someone call out.

"I can't-" her voice was breaking.

She felt like she was breaking apart.

"Tay'ra!" She hears someone scream again.

She closes her eyes tightly, before opening them once again, only to be found laying down with Ronal and Tonowari hovering over her.

Tay'ra took a deep breath out, as though she was looking back and fourth, from Tonowari to Ronal.

"It's okay. You're okay" Tonowari says softly.

"Why?.. how am I here?" Tay'ra gets herself to sit up.

She then sees Jake, who is sat with his head lowered, near her legs.

Ronal only looks away, as she was exhausted.

"Jake found you" Tonowari says, "he found you laying down outside. And you were not responding. So he bought you here."

Tay'ra gives Jake a little nod, as he now was looking up at her.

She then looks to Ronal, "are you okay? Is the baby okay?"

"What have you been doing?" Ronal scolds her, yet her voice was as though she was whispering.

They all look to Ronal, confused.

"You have touched something. Or done something" Ronal says.

"I don't know what you are talking about" Tay'ra says.

"It was like.. like you could feel Eywa. Like.. you had her power. Her strength.." Ronal looked at Tay'ra, not only confused but also concerned.

"I have told you all before. About how I had a feeling of Eywa's heartbeat" Tay'ra said, "you told me I was mental."

"Ronal what are you saying?" Tonowari asks.

"I need a break. I'm.. I'm tired" Ronal looked in utter shock, as though she could not believe what had happened.

Tonowari helps Ronal up, letting her walk out the marui.

Tay'ra then realises.. they were sat in Jake's marui.

"Are you okay?" Jake asks.

She nods.

"Thankyou. For bringing my sister.. what happened?" Tay'ra asks.

"We both had fallen asleep. Near the lake. And when I woke up, I called out out for you. But you did not respond. So I knew I had to bring you back and call, for your sister" Jake says.
