THE NEXT DAY
Chaeryeong was checking herself out in the mirror, making sure that her clothes were fitting her perfectly without any problems. She wore a grey crop top that hugged her upper torso nicely, revealing her abs, and had a white dress shirt laying over her crop top. Paired with black sweatpants that hugged her waist while letting her legs loose. It was a comfortable outfit that she normally wore for casual occasions.
Speaking of occasions, most might be wondering why she was contemplating so hard about her casual outfit for her casual occasions where she normally would not worry whether or not if she looked good. Yet, there she was, standing in front of her mirror with many doubts running through her head, and the only cause was indeed, Shin Yuna.
The woman had unexpectedly invited her to get some groceries — and although it was a mundane task, she still wanted to look good walking beside the stunning model.
It wasn't that she wasn't confident in her looks, because in truth, she was. She always had random people asking for her number or praising her wherever she went, even if it was the public girls' bathroom. However, this time, it was different.
Chaeryeong felt more wary and way more self-conscious after spending only a day around the brunette CEO, and it was just hitting her that her confidence was plummeting due to some unknown reason.
It wasn't her doing, that's for sure.
Casting one last glance at her full body double mirror, she walked out of her walk-in closet, attempting to fake her confidence with each step despite the strange uneasiness in her chest. She didn't know why she felt that way. Was it because she was afraid that the model would judge her? Or was it because she wanted to make herself known to Yuna and impress her?
Or, was it both?
Her thoughts were pushed into the back of her mind when she magically appeared in the living room, having no idea how she walked there with ease without paying attention. It was safe to say that she had gotten used to the main layout of the house.
She spotted the brunette coming down the spiral staircase at the same time, each click of her heel was laced with underlying elegancy that made her mouth drop slightly as she gaped. The model career was a good choice.
Her eyes scanned Yuna's outfit and suddenly — she felt taken aback, shocked that the woman even had such clothing in her beautifully organized closet that seemed to be swallowed in formal wear.
Yuna was wearing a grey hoodie with a black hat under the hood, and black sweatpants that hung loose from her waist, exaggerating her figure. What surprised Chaeryeong the most, was the fluffy slippers the woman wore.
"Stop staring," Yuna said with a slight glare, reaching the bottom of the steps with the utmost self-esteem Chaeryeong had ever seen, she could even feel it from this distance.
Clearing her throat, the black-haired Lee shook herself out of her trance and began to follow the actor who was already striding towards the front door.
They soon entered Yuna's car — ahem, one of, Yuna's cars, if she must mention. It took a minute for the model to decide on what car she wanted to take, and she ended up picking her Porsche Panamera, unknowingly impressing Chaeryeong who watched her throughout the whole process.
What had her breath hitching was the way Yuna had backed up out of the garage door and swiftly turned the car around, all with simply just one hand.
Hot. It was hot.
