Comfortably walking around the house in her silky red robe, Chaeryeong sipped on a glass of cold milk, enjoying the air conditioning especially with the heat outside. There were barely anyone that visited them today, as yesterday's events were quite exhausting, adding onto the day before the last where they drunk tons of alcohol. Most decided to take a rest.

However, that didn't mean all.

"Chaeryeong-ah!"

The said girl could hear her mother's call from the kitchen, seemingly happy yet urgent. And despite her curiosity, she had a gut feeling that it wasn't going to be good.

Leaving the backyard door, she slowly made her way to the living room where the front door was, leisurely sipping on her glass of milk.

When her eyes had recognized the adults in suits and dresses, shaking hands with a business smile, she nearly choked on the drink.

Her mother turned around, her face twisting when she scanned Chaeryeong's outfit as if she was wearing something bizarre.

"Go change! Guests are here!" The older woman aggressively whispered, trying to hurry her away while blocking her daughter's figure. "And call Yuna down!"

Chaeryeong did an 'OK' sign and hurried up the stairs, ensuring that her milk didn't spill over the carpeted steps.

"Babe!" She called out, knowing that she was still within her parents' earshot. After a few seconds, she didn't get a response, so she called again. "Baby?"

God, it felt weird calling her that.

Soon, Chaeryeong entered her room with confusion as to why the actor wasn't responding to her affectionate calls, only to open the door and see the woman laying with her eyes on her phone.

"Yuna!" The model looked her way with disinterest. "I've been calling for you. My parents' business partners are here already."

"Oh, you were calling for me?" Yuna asked, pointing at herself before pushing the duvet away.

"Duh, who else?" Chaeryeong heavily sighed and threw her free hand up. "Come on, get it moving. We gotta show up and I have to change."

"You take ten hours to change, we're so not doing that." Yuna shook her head and threw her hair to the side, revealing her collarbones under her dark blue sweater. Chaeryeong looked for a little too long, finding it interesting how the woman wore such casual clothing.

"Come on, let's go," Yuna approached the door and pulled her along, giving her no time to protest.

As Yuna and Chaeryeong entered the living room together, they were met with the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Kang, the business partners, and their son, Mihyun, who appeared to be around their age. Yuna's observant eyes caught the sly glances he directed towards Chaeryeong, clearly fixated on her revealing robe.

Maintaining her nonchalant demeanor, Yuna strategically positioned herself closer to Chaeryeong, subtly shielding her from Mihyun's gaze. She kept her tone passive-aggressive yet composed as she greeted the Kangs. "Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Kang. It's a pleasure to meet you. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by our impromptu gathering."

Chaeryeong, still aware of Mihyun's uncomfortable stares, adjusted her robe once again, trying to minimize any inadvertent attention. She glanced at Yuna, silently appreciating her presence and unspoken protection.

The conversation quickly shifted to discussing business matters, with Mr. Kang leading the discussion. As the adults engaged in the conversation, Mihyun's eyes continued to wander, his desire evident in his furtive glances at Chaeryeong.
