"I'm Kazuha."

Chaeryeong shook the woman's hand lightly, surprised by her welcoming and warm smile even though they had just met.

"Zuha, let's go!" Yuna shouted from upstairs, motioning her to hurry up.

Kazuha was the CEO's personal secretary for nearly everything. She managed all three of the woman's careers without fail, and continued to keep that smile on her face aside from the workload. Wasn't that interesting?

Plus, she worked alongside Yuna. Chaeryeong was amused by how opposite they were.

She followed the two back to her room, now spotting a pile of work laying on her old study desk that was cleaned by the Shin model not too long ago.

Yuna had called her secretary over because apparently, she couldn't bear going three days without doing any work that contributed to her company. Chaeryeong knew that perfectly well due to how the internet fan profiles were set up, every one of them had the fact that Yuna, was a work person.

As Chaeryeong sorted through her belongings, she couldn't help but steal glimpses at Yuna, who was engrossed in her work. There was an inexplicable pull, an undeniable attraction that Chaeryeong felt towards her. It wasn't just Yuna's physical appearance that caught her attention, but the way she carried herself with determination and dedication.

Trying to distract herself, Chaeryeong focused on organizing her clothes, but her eyes kept drifting back to Yuna's figure. The way Yuna furrowed her brows in concentration, the graceful movements of her hands as she typed on her laptop—it all mesmerized Chaeryeong.

And she really didn't want it to.

She busied herself with unpacking her books, hoping that the task would occupy her thoughts. Yet, every now and then, her gaze would wander to Yuna, who seemed completely absorbed in her work.

Chaeryeong couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to engage in a conversation with her, to unravel the layers beneath that determined exterior.

As time passed, Chaeryeong found herself captivated by the subtle nuances of Yuna's presence. The way she occasionally brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, the soft smile that appeared on her face when she achieved a breakthrough—each glimpse only intensified the attraction Chaeryeong felt.

She tried to shake off these feelings, reminding herself that she had come here for a job and not for any personal involvement. Chaeryeong needed to focus on her own career and establish herself in this new environment. But no matter how hard she tried, her mind always seemed to drift back to Yuna.

Chaeryeong couldn't quite understand why she was so drawn to Yuna. Perhaps it was the mystery that surrounded her, the air of professionalism mixed with a hint of vulnerability. Whatever the reason, she couldn't deny the growing connection she felt, even if it remained unspoken and hidden beneath the surface.

Was she feeling all these emotions just because of their act?

The fake affection?

The way Yuna talked to her in front of others?

Why did she want it to last?

Deep down, Chaeryeong knew that she needed to tread carefully. After all, she was here to work, not to let her emotions distract her. But as she continued to steal glances at Yuna, she couldn't help but wonder if there was a chance for something more—a connection that went beyond the confines of their professional roles.

However, she knew that was tipping toward impossible, due to their circumstances.

As Chaeryeong wrestled with her conflicted emotions, Kazuha, Yuna's personal secretary, observed the situation with a keen eye. She understood the unspoken tension between the two women and decided to assist discreetly, providing opportunities for them to interact.
