A month had passed since their wedding announcement, and the internet had finally calmed down about their marriage. Some criticized their union, claiming Chaeryeong didn't deserve Yuna and was using her for fame, despite Chaeryeong not being a well-known figure. On the other hand, many showed immense support for the couple, seeing them as a perfect match. The reactions were varied and diverse.

Chaeryeong walked into the house, closing the door behind her with a kick before announcing, "Baby, I'm home!"

A few moments later, Yuna's voice came from the kitchen. "I'm in here!"

Relieved to be home after a stressful day at work, Chaeryeong took off her blazer and unbuttoned a few buttons on her blouse, allowing herself to breathe freely. She felt a sense of comfort wash over her in the familiar surroundings.

As she made her way further into the house, Chaeryeong's footsteps halted when she spotted Yuna and another woman at the central island in their kitchen. They were both huddled around a laptop, sharing smiles and engaged in conversation.

Curiosity mingled with suspicion as Chaeryeong approached Yuna, setting her belongings on a nearby stool.

"Who's this?" she asked slowly, her eyes narrowing slightly. She directed her gaze at Yuna, waiting for an explanation.

Yuna smiled warmly at Chaeryeong. "This is Haena, my co-actor for the new project I'm working on."

Standing beside Yuna, Chaeryeong felt a reassuring hand on her back, gently rubbing circles. Despite her mixed emotions, she couldn't help but smile at the familiar gesture. Yuna always seemed to understand her, even with just a brief glance.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Chaeryeong. I've heard a lot about you in the past few minutes," Haena said, smiling tightly.

Chaeryeong's lips twitched slightly, and a queasy feeling settled in her stomach, but she didn't really feel like throwing up. So what was this?

Retracting their hands after the handshake, Chaeryeong responded with a noncommittal hum before turning her attention back to Yuna. "Is that so?" she raised an eyebrow.

Yuna smiled teasingly, planting a kiss on her cheek. "I was just telling Haena about your accomplishments. Don't let it go to your big head."

Playfully rolling her eyes, Chaeryeong took a step back and picked up her belongings. "I'll go change. Enjoy your time," she said with a smile, subtly casting a glance at Haena before leaving the kitchen area.

A sense of unease lingered within her as she walked away.

Something felt off.

——

Emerging from her comfortable bedroom, Chaeryeong swept her hair to one side, letting it air dry. Descending the curved staircase, she immediately spotted the two actors still in the kitchen, occupying the same spot where she had left them.

Noticing the scripts in their hands, Chaeryeong deduced that they were discussing the movie. Without making a sound, she walked into the kitchen, catching a quick glance from her lover, and proceeded to prepare herself a cup of green tea for the evening.
