(Jam's POV)
Two weeks.
He won't be here for two weeks.
It's only been five hours since the plane took off and he officially left Manila pero hindi na agad ako mapalagay.
I miss him already.
So d@mn much.
He called me once the plane landed to tell me he got there safely at paalalahanan ako na magdinner muna sa bahay since wala siya para ipagluto ako sa condo.
Two weks.
Ugh.
I can't stand this.
Umupo ako sa sala and started spacing out. Kakatapos ko lang magdinner and nasa living room kami. Kumpleto lahat ngayon- except for my grandma na kasama nina Love sa Japan. May inaasikaso daw kasi sa branch namin dun.
"Jamie." Dad called me.
"Yes po?" Tinignan ko naman sila ni Mommy na mukhang kanina pa binabantayan yung reactions ko.
"We need you back in the office."
"Po?" What?! Ba't biglaan yata???
"Aalis ang kuya mo at susunod kina Mama sa Japan. You need to take his place during his absence."
Napatingin ako kay Kuya na mukhang 'di sang-ayon sa decision ni Dad.
"Dad, I don't think I'm qualified en-"
"Nonsense. You need the practice for the future, Jamie. No more but's. You will go back on Monday."
I just nodded my head. "As you wish, Dad."
