𓆩♰𓆪┊REBEBKAH COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF THE VIEW OF DRIFTMARK. Instead of traveling by sea, she chose to go on Helios. She didn't exactly want to see Rhaenyra, not after what happened between them. She wasn't sure what to make of their relationship now that Rhaenyra discovered she slept with Alicent.
She knew that Rhaenyra was angry at her for Alicent yet she was the one who left her and slept with Cole. It wasn't her fault that Rebekah wanted to move forward and forget that night on the streets happened. Because of their actions, they were forced to make this decision.
Of course, when they started to depart Alicent was already there saying goodbye to Viserys. Before she even left to go to the Dragonpit she had embraced Rebekah in front of Rhaenyra and the others.
Rhaenyra scowled.
Many assumed it was because she was thinking of her engagement but really she wanted to rip Alicent's hands off.
Luckily Rebekah was out of the clear, as far as everyone knew nobody knew she was there that night. Ophelia made sure of it when she was questioned. Even the knight posted at her door noticed she never left.
Rebekah could picture the furious look on the Hand's face knowing that she wasn't caught.
When she landed Helios on the beach, Rhaenys was already there waiting.
Rebekah got off Helios and made her way to her cousin, "Rhaenys!"
"Rebekah sweetheart." Rhaenys greeted happily, embracing the younger girl and pressing a loving kiss on her head. "I'm surprised you didn't join his Grace and Princess Rhaenyra."
"Well, she and I aren't exactly on speaking terms ━ OW!"
Rhaenys slapped the back of her head and hissed, "You stupid girl! You could've been compromised! You are lucky your maidenhood is intact! What were you thinking going out at night with Daemon of all people!"
