Malyen was dead and had left behind a grieving wife and two sons.
A week since Rebekah has left her chambers on Dragonstone.
After the funeral, Rebekah couldn't stand being in Driftmark anymore. She had packed up her things and was set to sail back home except she wasn't looking forward to the trip back home either. Summerhall was filled with memories of the blissful life she had with her husband.
The night before Daemon came to her chambers on a stormy night to inform her that dinner was ready. Corlys had managed to get Rhaenys out of bed and had thrown a family dinner before everyone decided to depart the next morning. Everyone downstairs was hoping for the Summerhall Princess in hopes she'd join as well.
