Sneaking in was way easier than I had thought. The zip line struck home on the first time, and following Agent White, we dropped silently onto the balcony, unlocking a window with Agent White's flawless lock-picking skills that only took us an extra 20 minutes. Once inside, we started poking around for the room the target could be in. After 30 minutes of searching ending up in vain, Agent White and I both ended up in quite a big room with a high ceiling and what looked to be a stage in the front. Before either of us had time to react or do anything, the door behind us slammed shut and we were grabbed from behind, our hands quickly tied together and our eyes blindfolded.

When the blindfold was removed, we were in a dark room, our bodies tied tightly to the chairs we sat on. A person stood before us, close enough to distinguish the outline of their body, but not close enough to see their face. When they seemed to notice we were awake, they said something in another language and pulled out a phone, and walked to the other side of the room, then disappeared from the room altogether. Leaving us alone with some other person sitting in the corner.

I groaned and rested my head on the wall behind us "My first mission with you and boom, I get kidnapped, seriously, you think I'd have beginner's luck at least!"

I was still complaining about being kidnapped when snoring from the corner stopped me in my self-pity. Turning to Agent What, my mouth dropped as I saw him suddenly get up, his rope cut in half. Turning to me with the rope in his hand, he had on a very smug grin which I found very annoying. "What!?" I almost shouted, which made Agent White chuckle, "Please, you didn't think it was my first time getting kidnapped...did you?"

"Please, who would want to kidnap you?"

Agent White, who had by now knelt to unfasten the ropes that bound me. Looked up and gave me an expression that read 'You want to mess with me right now?'. I quickly shut my mouth and looked away, letting him quickly cut through the rope and help me up. Once we were outside and a good distance away from the mansion, I brushed a piece of coal-black hair behind my ear and glanced at Agent White walking beside me. "I'm impressed" I finally said, Agent White looked at me in surprise, "Really? Is that a good or a bad thing" I rolled my eyes but laughed "It depends, how did you get free so fast?"

"My ring has a little saw that comes out of it"

"Woah! Nice! Do you think the boat will still be there?"

"Maybe, we'll have to check"

30 minutes later we got to the spot on the lake the navigator had marked for the boat, only to find it gone. "Oh well, so much for getting back tonight" I groaned. "This doesn't make sense, the house was way too easy to break into, and they didn't even have difficult security to get through, no one was in the house. And the reason I went to the hill instead of just breaking in from the ground, was so I could spot the plane, it should have been easy." I looked at him and frowned "Are you saying we were betrayed or something?"

"Not betrayed, sabotaged"

"By who?"

"The man we are after of course, who else? They mentioned having chased after him for a while, I just never paused to think why, but now..."

"What?"

"I might know who the man is"

"Who?"

"Alex Stile"

"The famous cook?"

"What? No! He's a guy high up in the CIA, brilliant, and one of their largest weapon suppliers"

Suddenly, I remembered my cousin talking to someone he called 'Alex' on the phone, could they be the same person, and if so... why did I need to be here, working undercover? "Agent Black...Agent Black...hey!"

"Huh?"

"Did you hear anything I just said?"

"Uh...sorry, no, what were you saying?"

"I was saying there is a town just north of us, barely 3 miles away, and that we should go to it to spend the night"

"Ah yes, sounds good!"

45 minutes later we arrived at the town and as Agent White book us a place to stay, I rested nearby on a bench. A few minutes later he came back with a room pass saying "C'mon, I got us a room" I jumped up and stared at him "A room? We are 2 people!" He shrugged "So? The room has 2 beds" I facepalmed and groaned, but followed him to a nice-looking room, at the end of a long hall. I placed my stuff on one bed while he did the same on the other, I glared at him as he sat down on the end of my bed "What's the matter, afraid I might murder you in your sleep?" I shook my head, throwing a pillow at him "No, but I might" He chuckled and threw the pillow back at me "Yeah right, says the person who's never even been kidnapped before" I frowned "Is that supposed to be a bad thing?" he shrugged "I suppose not" I yawned and proceeded to push him off my bed, turned off the lamp "Well I'm tired of listening to you, I'm going to bed" I could hear Agent White chuckling in the dark. "Goodnight" I called out softly a few minutes later "Goodnight Agent Black"
