It took weeks for us both to heal fully, but even when we did, no one had any idea about the whereabouts of Alex, and until they did, Agent White and I were kept close and told to lay low. But sometimes, I think there are places for breaking the rules.

Closing my eyes, I pulled the trigger, after I heard the shot fire, I opened my eyes noting the perfect shot, then sat down on the bench as the feeling of boredom crept up on me for the 100th time this week. Hearing my phone ring, I frowned and set down the gun I had just picked up to resume target practice. Picking up the phone I gasped and looked around quickly before answering and lifting it to my ear "What are you doing!? You know they can trace numbers right?"

"Yes, I know, but not this number, I made it so they can't see anything when they look into it"

"Oh my goodness! Why are you calling?"

"It's been over 2 months, why do you think? I also heard you got into a little car accident, maybe I'm just calling to see how you are"

"Ok, wait, how do you know about that?"

"Uh, not important, what important is that you meet me today at 6 for some dinner, does that sound good?"

"Cousin...I don't know, I'm supposed to be laying low with Agent White"

"Agent!? I mean of course, but I'm sure you are bored by now, let's go to your favorite, on me, what do you say?"

"Uh...fine, but don't bring any attention to it"

"My lips are sealed"

With that, he hung up. I stared at the phone for a few seconds before stuffing it into my pocket as I mumbled "That was weird"

"What was?'

Startled, I jumped and spun around, relaxing as I saw Agent White just picking up his duffel bag and turning to leave. "Oh! Nothing, just my cousin called" Agent White frowned when I said that and immediately set down his bag "The one that was formerly your boss?" I nodded "Yes, he invited me to dinner"

"Sweet home Alabama"

"Not like that you idiot!!"

Agent White laughed "Well, what for?"

"I uh...don't exactly know, he didn't specify"

Which was the truth, he could have just as easily asked for a report over the phone, something was up.

"Agent Black...Hello?"

"Huh?"

"When are you leaving?"

"Oh, um...I need to leave right now, I'll call you later, ok?"

"Uh...ok? Is everything..."

"Got to go, bye"

"Uh...bye"

Pulling up to the restaurant, I looked around for a second before going in. Spotting my cousin across the restaurant and paused for a second before walking over. "Well hello Rain"

"What do you need?"

"Hey! That's no way to talk to your boss, what you're in the Mafia for a month, and now your suddenly tough?"

I groaned, remembering how little cared about I was in the CIA "I was always tough cousin, but now I just show it"

"You better drop the attitude if you still want a job"

"Why did you call me here?"

"Well, I wanted a report on the mission"

"No, you don't, you would have asked me over the phone. I know you, you always do something nice for me when you want something"
