Meeting Strange Faces, Testing Out Powers

(Y/N POV)

Ever since Xenophanes said that he would be calling some "friends" over to help me with my powers, I couldn't help but wonder what he could consider friends. Would they be as murderous and creepy as he is? Or will they be the complete, all friendly and trusting? That's a difficult question, especially since he's been secretive about it every time I tried to ask him. I was at my usual spot, observing the lucky Mobians, Flickies, and even the Chao play around in the fields, when I feel the presence of my captor behind me.

"I know you like to watch the peons down there, but I'm afraid I must drag you away for today. My friends are nearly arriving"

I nod and follow him to the throne room, the feeling of being uncomfortable around him returning, and could you blame me? He's constantly having those ruby red eyes watching my soul every second he has got. We reach the throne room; Xenophanes teleports us to our respective thrones (don't know why I have one) as two unrecognisable ring portals appear, one blue and one looking damaged.

From the first ring, out steps a figure who looks similar to Sonic, but his fur being much more blue, and having s weird looking smile, void-like eyes, and a massive cheekbone. Upon closer inspection, I realised that he was that character from one of the easter egg pictures in Sonic CD, though I forgot his name.

The second figure, oh boy. If I wasn't sitting down under Xenophane's watch, I would've dashed out the room, screaming like my worst fear came to reality. Like the other, he bared a resemblance to Sonic, but his fur is looks navy blue, has grotesque feet that resemble hands, and a massive X over his stomach, which unlike Xenophane's, was more detailed and cleaner.

Who were these people, and why do they also use Sonic's image? Not long after entering, both entities notice me and their expressions change into different ones. The more passive one looks at me with a face of enjoyment, like he's almost happy to see me for the first time, while the more darker one looks at me in confusion, like he's confused on why I'm here. Soon Xenophanes rises up from his throne, transforming into his disguised form, and approaches the two figures with a massive smile on his face.

"Majin! Lord X! It's great to see you two again! I haven't heard from you ever since we had to face that blue rabbit!"

Yes, I missed our time together, Xeno. But we all have our own things to do in our worlds, so it was only inevitable that we'd have to split up at some point"

"Not to sound rude during what Majin considers a reunion, but can you explain why there's a human sitting on that throne?"

The darker one, I'm guessing that's Lord X, points at me, almost like my presence disgusts him. I glare at him, finding him more disgusting than how he may claim I am, as Xenophanes chuckles.

"That human right there is my favourite toy, (Y/N), but another name he'll soon go by is Basilides. He's also the reason why I called you both here, but on the topic of you guys arriving, where's the other one I called for?"

"Oh, you know Zephaniah, always busy with that purple shark brat and his snail girlfriend. He said he'll be running late, but I know that won't stop you from getting on with whatever you want"

Xenophanes sighs, clutching his fists after hearing what Majin has told him. Apparently there was another one named "Zephaniah" that was supposed to be here, but is too busy dealing with a shark and a snail? What does that even mean? I get pulled out of my thoughts as Lord X grabs me with some kind of red aura and drags me closer to him, almost like he's viewing me like an object, before throwing me next to Xenophanes.
