Meeting The Other Demons

(Y/N POV)

Well, it's been a while since Xenophanes brought in three new humans into his world. After being turned into a demon similar to him, it's nice to finally hopefully have a conversation with others from my world. From what I remember, their names are Daniel, Isabelle, and Sarah, in the order that they were slaughtered. Daniel has already gotten to know me, and is aware what happens when you anger me. Ever since Xenophanes introduced them to their new prison, Daniel has been moping around in some of the locations from the Dreamcast games, though I have seen him in the Game Gear levels occasionally.

Isabelle is honestly an easy soul to scare. Not only because of her brutal demise, which Xenophanes went into detail on how he killed her, but mostly because of what happened after she arrived. She had the nerve to scream and shout at us, calling us abominations for slaughtering humans and bringing them into this world, so me and Xenophanes knew just how we would shut her up.

I simply transformed my hand into a hook and gouged out her left eye, before leaving a slash mark on her chest, warning her that I could do a lot worse to her. Ever since that little "accident", Isabelle has been constantly scared, fearing me or Xenophanes will hear her and eliminate her soul. One of my favourite past times, when it isn't observing the Mobians in one of the zones or completing an objective that Xenophanes gives me, is to teleport nearby her and give her a harmless jumpscare. It's so entertaining seeing her scream what's left of her lungs and a bit of blood fly out of her eye wound.

Finally is Sarah, and she's an interesting one. She puts on a confident façade, trying to show that she isn't afraid of me or Xenophanes, but we all know that it's nothing but a lie deep inside. When she's alone (or at least she thinks she is), she cries her eyes out, letting black tears drop to the floor as she calls for her brother to save her, almost like she's trapped in a nightmare. At least she's right on one thing, that this is a nightmare for her and the others. For me, this is entertaining.

Currently, I'm observing those Mobians down in Green Hill Zone to pass the time, when I feel something tap me on the back of my leg. Looking down reveals the cause to be some kind of butchered flicky carrying a note in its beak, definitely from Xenophanes. I pet the little bird as a thanks before taking the note and reading it, apparently he wants me in our throne room quickly, but hasn't specified why. I teleport over to the throne room, and see Xenophanes surprisingly in his disguise form sitting on his throne, holding a stray soul in his palm, before making it disappear upon noticing me.

"Ah, my favourite toy. I see that you've got my letter"

(Y/N): That I have, Xenophanes. What's the reason for my summoning? Is it that we're trapping the soul of another player here?

"While that does sound delightful, I'm afraid not. You remember Majin and Lord X, right?"

(Y/N): Of course, they helped me get use to my new body that you gifted me with.

"Well, they're coming over for a grand feast with some other demons of the void. Every year, we all gather where we all came into existence and recollect on our previous actions, before returning to our worlds. As my favourite toy, you'll be coming along, and from what I've heard, Majin is also bringing along someone from his world, as well"

(Y/N): (beams) That sounds wonderful, Xenophanes! It will be nice to meet your other allies, as well as seeing Majin and Lord X again! When will we be going? And what about the stray souls?

"Don't you worry about those souls, my little pandora. They know better than to try and escape, even when my presence is no longer around. As for when it begins, it begins very soon, so we shall be off now"
