(Kyle POV)

Three more murders have now occurred, costing us more of both our allies and our sanity. When the news came on, showing who's been found dead, many of us had similar reactions. Mike and Vicky kept crying into their shoulders while hugging each other tightly, Roger hasn't been sleeping much, Tom seems to be on the brink of losing his sanity if this keeps going on, and as for Derek... Well, when he found out that his sister was one of those three, he fell into a deep depression and left the team. I can't blame him, really.

I haven't mentioned Cole yet, seeing as how he's the one who's been keeping us going with all this knowledge on "X", but after the recent triple slaughter, he hasn't sent any of us a message or a call in a while. Maybe he sensed this whole battle against "X" is a lost cause and fled? Or maybe he's just trying to come up with a new plan? Honestly, none of us have any idea, and until some form of hint appears, all we can do is play the obnoxious and tedious waiting game.

Currently, I'm just sitting in my room, eyeing the drawer where that demonic disc resides, taunting me with the blood on its surface. After the police did an investigation of the crime scene, I found the disc inside Daniel's computer, and took it back to my room in order to avoid anyone else picking it up and making the same mistake as most people so far. I take another glance at it, feeling tears forming in my eyes that slowly spill down my cheeks and down onto the floor of my college dorm room.

We've lost too many people in the last few months... A few classmates and teachers, new transfer students, officers that we grew close to, (Y/N)... Is this how our tale ends?

...

...

No.

I won't let everyone's deaths be in vain this easily. Everyone didn't know what exactly they were dealing with, and as a result, they were killed off due to curiosity. No matter how long that "X" monster made the game last, everyone met the same fate, whether it was quick and painless, or long and painful. That's what happened to (Y/N), Daniel, Isabelle, Sarah, everyone.

But when my curiosity showed me my upcoming fate, I was given a chance to run away, to be seen as some paranoid lunatic and get slaughtered when my extended time is up. Not this time. With my expression hardening into a combination of anger and determination, I walk to the disc and grab it, my glare being reflected on its surface. If that demon wants to play games, then I'll go back. I'll go back for a second round. At this point, I've nearly got nothing else to lose. Sure, I still have Tom, Roger, Mike, and Vicky, but they'll also die soon too.

The best I can do is sacrifice myself for as long as "X" pleases, and hope that they can come up with a plan before it's too late. Now, where do I play the game? I know for a fact that if I play it here, Tom or someone else will find out and put an end to it immediately, letting my sacrifice become pointless at this point. If I want to challenge this demon to a rematch, it needs to be somewhere they won't suspect...

...

...

My brain suddenly sparks with a location in mind, one that is both somewhere I've been, but one where the others may not check, due to the distance between the college dorms and his house. Not wanting to waste anymore time, I put the disk and my dusty laptop into a bag, and start leaving for my destination. I don't care if it's late at night, or that I'm putting my own life at risk.

This isn't for my sake. It's for theirs, both alive and deceased...
