(Y/N POV)

Alright, it took a while of using up a lot of energy to create a vessel for this doomed soul, but I managed to do great for my first attempt. The only thing I had to use for ideas was that whoever this person was, their favourite character was Shadow. So, I used the dark hedgehog as a basis, but added some differences to it to make it more unique. Starting off, I gave the vessel a large marron-coloured hoodie to wear, made the eyes black with green pupils, a ripped cape, and some fangs for extra flare. After adding the finishing touches, I take a moment to look at what I created, wiping some non-existent sweat off me.

(Y/N): Well, I'll say that was a job well done.

"I agree. I'm amazed at how well you created this vessel, despite no experience in this art"

I jump back slightly, turning around to see Xenophanes standing right behind me with the same unnerving smile as always. No matter how long I've been in this world, he always finds a way to catch me by surprise.

(Y/N): Oh, thanks, Xenophanes. It was a bit tricky, due to the only info I could use being his favourite character, but that didn't stop me from adding some flare to it.

"Interesting. Now, time to transfer the soul inside"

Xenophanes holds his hand out, causing the empty vessel and the soul right beside us to glow a bright purple. Then, in a split second, we both see the soul fly right into the vessel, which soon begins to twitch and shake with every passing minute.

"The transfer has been complete. Now, I'm afraid I have some new souls to take care of. I'll trust you to introduce this new victim to his new world"

(Y/N): Very well, Xenophanes. I'll be sure to give him a proper tour and explanation.

"Good~"

Xenophanes soon disappears, leaving me with the new victim trapped in here. After a few minutes pass by, the soul inside begins to wake up, opening their new eyes and taking the time to look around, before eventually spotting me and backing up in fear.

???: You!!! I remember you! You're that freaky creature that killed the freedom fighters! What are you doing here?! And were am I?!

(Y/N): My, you seem to have such an attitude. I'd suggest you don't say anything that could make your current predicament worse.

???: (scoffs) Oh, that's helpful. Like I'd listen to the monster that-

Growing more irritated at this soul's anger, I quickly grab him by the neck with my right hand, before transforming my left hand into a hook and place it right onto his chest, right where the heart is located. The victim soon freezes up, no longer saying a word as a look him directly into his newly gained eyes.

(Y/N): That wasn't a joke, it's a warning. Am I clear?

The victim starts rapidly nodding, clearly intimidated by me now. So, I transform my hand back to normal and let go of his neck, satisfied with his answer as I clap my hands together.

(Y/N): Great! Now, I am Basilides, one of the two gods in this world. Currently, the other one is busy with some other souls, so I'll be giving you a quick tour of where you'll be staying for eternity. Before we begin, may I get your name? Calling you either "Victim" or "Helpless Soul" will get tiring after a while.

The soul stays silent for a long time, either still in fear from what I did, or trying to understand what happened to him. Eventually, he's able to tell me his name, but also asks a harmless little question.
