The city scape
Felt more like mine
Then
My childhood home
Why the world looked
Like it was more possible
In a foreign space
Then impossible
In what I suppose is a place
Confined in concreteWhy I grew more
In the sounds
That screamed outside
My window at night
Why I learned more
Here
Then, a schoolIn this city
