The next day Carl was taken off of bed rest and was gleefully walking around and helping with chores. Lori was worried that Carl might get hurt again, Lana was too but the farm was safe. She has nothing to worry about and she told Lori that too, but naturally, Lori is still a little worried.
It was Lana's first night outside of the Greene's house and while the cot wasn't comfortable, it was nice to be sleeping near her people. She liked the Greenes but they all seemed very uptight, well besides Beth and Eden. But maybe they just want a friend who's not related to them.
"How was the first night out of the castle?" T-dog asks with a small laugh.
"Very funny." Lana says. "It was nice being closer to the group. But I will admit the breakfast they make in there is so good."
"So you're saying my squirrel isn't good enough?" T-dog jokes.
"Maybe." Lana says quietly, still making sure it's loud enough for T-dog to hear.
"Wow okay, Lana." T-dog says, dragging out the w at the end of the wow. Lana snickers as Glenn walks up to them with a basket in hand. "Sup." T-dog says as he starts to look in the basket.
Glenn's face goes slightly pale. "Nothing. Nothings up. Why?" He asks nervously.
Lana raises an eyebrow and starts to look around in the basket, her eyes immediately drawing to a peach which she gracefully takes. She takes a big bite out of the peach. The small group just looks at Glenn weirdly until Lana asks "Everything alright?"
"Yup, yeah, everything's great." Glenn says nervously. Lana looks at Glenn confused but all he does is turn around and walk away.
"That was weird." Dale mumbles.
"I bet whatever it is I can get it out of him." Lana crosses her arms.
"worth a shot." T-dog says as he turns around and continues to work on the RV, Dale quickly does the same.
"I'll talk to him after gun training. See you two later." Lana says before she walks away, still taking big bites out of her peach.
