The shocked sounds andsobs of those nearby were to be the only sounds that filled the seemingly still air.
"Don't look. Don't look." Daryl advises, trying to lift Carol from her distressed position on the ground. Daryl got her to a standing position before Carol pushed him off of her and stormed away.
Lana looked at the ground as she put her gun in the back of her waistband. She didn't want to turn around and see the faces of those around her, but she knew she would have to at some point.
Lana glanced behind her to see Beth wrapped in Jim's arms crying violently, Patricia and Eden were standing close together as well. Hershel and Maggie seemed to be the same, as if they were frozen in time.
Suddenly Beth starts to move, making a beeline for a specific walker. Shane and Rick try to stop her but she just pushes their hands away. Beth sobs violently as she pushes a walker off what appears to be her mother.
"Ma..." Beth mumbles as she turns the walker onto its back, exposing its bloody cheek. Beth looks at the walker somberly, but before she even gets a second to process what she's looking at the walker grasps at her pigtails with a growl.
She screams violently as nearly everyone at the scene runs to her side. Glenn quickly grabs the walker's hands and pulls them away from Beth. Lana, T-dog, and a couple of others start to pull Beth away. It takes effort as the girl is determined to stay by her mother's side, but eventually, they pull the teen away from the walker and she is then wrapped in a warm hug by her father.
The walker goes to take a bite at Glenn's wrist but before it can succeed Andrea lands a fatal blow to the walker. Lana runs over to Glenn and wraps him in a hug while Beth continues to cry violently.
