It's been hours since Beth had gone unresponsive, the sun has set and the smell of a fresh dinner has been teasing Lana for what seems like forever. So much has happened today that Lana hasn't even thought about eating, and now that she thinks about it the last thing she ate was the eggs that Carol made.
"Dinners ready," Maggie says as she pops her head in the doorframe. Lana and Eden quickly get up, both of them are starved. "Is she doing any better?" Maggie asks, looking down at her sister who hasn't moved an inch in hours.
"She's not getting worse," Lana replies trying to stay optimistic. Maggie frowns and walks toward the dining room, Lana and Eden following.
Lana walks into the dining room and takes a seat across from Carl, Eden sits to her right. "Where's Glenn?" Lana asks, looking at all the empty seats. "They should've been back by now." She adds as Andrea and Shane take a seat at the table.
"They just got holed up somewhere," Shane replies. "We'll head out first thing in the morning," Shane adds, looking at Lana. Patricia places a salad bowl next to Shane "Thank you." He says as he starts to serve himself.
"Welcome." She says softly. Carol then hands Andrea a basket full of fresh bread.
"Carl, I want you to keep your head up, okay?" Shane orders, taking a bread roll out of the basket in Andrea's hands before she passes it to Dale. "Your old man, he's the toughest son of a-"
"No cussing in the house." Patricia says she's been watching Shane intensely ever since he stepped foot in the dining room. But after the stunt he pulled at the barn, it makes sense why the Greenes are weary of him now.
"Sorry," Shane says with a chuckle.
"Hey, where's Lori?" Lana asks, noticing the empty chair next to Carl that usually belongs to Lori. Dale passes the basket of bread to Lana which she happily takes a bread roll out of before passing it on to Eden.
