"Up you go!"
ONE OF THE KNIGHTS pushed the brunette up and she thanked him, placing both her legs on one side, hearing the horse neigh. It has been a few days since the storm incident in the field and contrary to that day, the sun was beaming today. However...ever since that incident the atmosphere between the princes and the girls was rather rough.
You might say it was rather stormy.

Haeyul and King Jungwon haven't been conversing with each other how they used to; sharing merely quick glances to check on each other. Haeyul was extremely stumped when she realized what was happening. She had tried breaking the wall between, but it was rather difficult.

On the other hand, Sunoo had been looking rather gloomy these past few days—only mumbling and complaining about how dangerous that night was. He had been talking especially more about Elena, bemusing the foreigner. She didn't know he cares so much for the redhead.

And much to her surprise, Prince Niki was not even an ounce angry at her. Well- actually- she was rather disappointed by his reaction after his words he had shared on their way back to the castle, but she decided to not press on it.

Nevertheless, things has been going quite competently. The protection barrier she and Sunoo have made was holding up excellently, her health has been progressing better, and all of the preparations for the journey to the Ryu Village has been completed. Regardless of how everything has been playing out, Seulhyun was still uneasy.

Uneasy with her heart towards the youngest prince.

She has always understood her emotions well yet this time, she didn't- couldn't, actually. She couldn't understand the emotion she has been experiencing whenever she sees the prince. What she knows is it all began on that stormy night.

A hefty sigh brushed past her lips as she hugged the horse she was sitting on. It is a gorgeous horse. Its auburn mane was luscious, free, and slightly wavy. His cream-colored coat has peanut-like paint splashed all over him, creating a resemblance with a calf.

"You're so pretty." Seulhyun snuggled into the horse.
"Thanks."

She paused when she heard the familiar voice. Why was he here? "What are you doing here?" Her brows furrowed, "You're supposed to be in the carriage."

He nodded as if he knew that fact already. "I was going to get in the carriage until I heard that you were riding my horse." Prince Niki told, baffling the girl.

His horse? Why was she not told about this important information?
"By the look of your face, you didn't know." He chuckled, patting his horse. Moving his eyes towards her, they made eye contact. And Seulhyun swore she felt electricity struck every part of her body.

Suspicions flooded her hazel eyes and he rolled his in return. "As proof." He inhaled and placed his palm on the horse's head. "Down." He softly ordered.

That was the same trick Prince Niki had done on that night. Just as he was told, his horse knelt down, surprising the girl. A smug smirk pulled on the prince's lips as he supported Seulhyun by holding her hand.

"Careful, Outsider." His husky voice was silky smooth and Seulhyun forced her head out of the gutter.

"Take care of her for me. His name is Bisco." He casually instructed and left.

Seulhyun was about to respond to his command when her brain stopped her, "Huh?"
Take care of her for me? Her.Was he telling to the horse to take care of her? Not the other way around like how she had interpret it.

"Huh." She muttered. How odd.

A deafening trumpet filled the air and the carriage in front of her moved forward, carrying all of the royalties. Seulhyun, who rode by herself, followed the horses ahead of her as she passed the gates and entered the town. Cheers erupted from the citizen standing at the edge of the streets. They were cheering for the Royal Family, of course. Not to mention Haeyul who had opened the windows to appreciate their actions. It was no wonder for the huge reaction. The people loves their queen dearly.

She caught eyes with one of the children on the side of the road. Their eyes glimmered with immense admiration, moving her heart. Looking back at the carriage, she smiled.

To have the public admire them so much after the history of the Yang Family means the seven descendants have worked especially hard to gain the people's trust again. Even back in Ollyn, where she thought they had the most dedicated citizens, cannot compare with this.

A nudge on her side brought her back to reality as she faced the person. "Beautiful lady, please fasten your pace. We're falling behind." He politely said.
"Oh, sorry!"
"That's alright." The knight smiled.

What a friendly knight. The knight bursted out laughing all of the sudden, confusing the girl. What's so funny? Was there something on her face?
"Pardon me. You must think I'm too friendly to be a knight, don't you?" He humorously said.
Seulhyun raised her brow, "No. Not really." She humored.

"What's wrong with being a friendly knight? I think that's nice." She said, frowning upon the stereotypical view set on knights. "You don't have to be stoic to be a knight. I think you should be yourself actually."

The unnamed knight tilted his head. "Oh?" He uttered, "..that's new." He scratched the nape of his neck.

The brunette shrugged, "It's not new, it's just hidden away." Every knight who has shown their vulnerable side has been frowned upon. Most people say it makes them weak. And knights are supposed to look dependable—someone to be relied on. But this matter has costed thousands of men who aspire to be a knight have their dreams broken just because of the preferred appearance.

"It's a shame really." The knight empathized and Seulhyun agreed.

Curiosity piqued her as the knight moved back to his position. She forgot to ask for his name. "Excuse me! May I get your name please?"

The knight turned towards her direction, "Ryan! My name's Ryan!" He answered. Seulhyun have him a thumbs up, a symbol she has learnt from Haeyul, causing Ryan to look at her oddly.
