YANG JUNGWON skimmed the area, hearing heavy running as knights scattered around the place. His brow was molded into a deep frown, a slight headache entering his head from the lack of sleep- and Haeyul. Oh, how much he wished she was here with him.

His frown grew deeper when he couldn't spot his youngest brother around. His belongings were placed neatly in their carriage, but there were no signs of his presence near.

"Sunghoon," He called, his demanding voice slicing the air.
"Yes, Your Highness?" Sunghoon bowed.
"Have you seen Niki anywhere?"

The older prince straightened his back, standing in a textbook stance. "The last time I had contact with him was through our telepathy. I heard a raucous roar but it faded into laughter after a few moments." From a girl. But, Sunghoon wasn't one to betray his brother's secrets to another.

How sly of Niki, he thought as a smirk graced his stoned face. Jungwon sighed, dismissing the prince with his hand, both annoyed and relief by the news.

"Please inform me more of him if you hear anything from him." The King told and Sunghoon hummed. "You are excused."

Sunghoon gave his respect to the king—his brother—before walking towards his workstation. He recognized that laugh; it was from Seulhyun and he has never heard her so happy before. However something boggled his mind, why were they happy after encountering with a dragon?

He sighed, shaking his head, confused by the peculiar pair. For all he knows, Seulhyun has a special place in Niki's heart since he never attached himself to a person before she had came, and Sunghoon didn't know the reason behind Niki's attachment but he didn't press on it.

He only hoped the two vampires will return to the camp soon.

Night quickly came as Niki and Seulhyun continued their journey back, however with no light whatsoever, it was troublesome to maneuver their way through the wild forest. "I think we should stop for the night." Niki proposed, "It's too risky."

Seulhyun nodded, agreeing with him.

The young prince reached for what he thinks is a stick and handed it to the girl. Seulhyun looked at him, puzzled by his action. "What? Do you want me to built a tent out of this stick?"
He shook his head, "Order your friend to ablaze it."

Seulhyun arched her brows at his request. Seriously? Does her dragon even breath fire? She lifted her hand, full of doubts, as she directed it towards her buddy, who she still hasn't decided the name. "Can you blow fire for me, Bud?"

The dragon took a step back and softly emit fire from his mouth, burning the stick enough to not burn her hand. The brunette gasped at the fire. Its flames we're purple, just like the dragon's scales when it's glowing.
