"What?"SEULHYUN pulled her brows together. "We do?" Sunoo nodded, "We dream of the most memorable memories we have in this lifetime since you're being purified from any negativity." He explained.
Seulhyun stared at him, not knowing how to react as she wasn't surprised about it but she obviously would have never expected it. Although she tries to deny it, it's undeniable Niki has a special place in her heart. She gulped, avoiding eye contact with Sunoo, knowing the expression he was wearing at that moment.
"I knew it you have some sort of thing for him!" The prince exclaimed, earning an exasperated groan from the brunette. "The two of you are always stuck together somehow and it's not the most obvious but if piece things together, it works."
"By the least, I think I'd rather have you paired with Niki rather than Sunghoon." He rambled. Seulhyun tilted her head at the sudden mention of the other prince. "Sunghoon?" Why was he involved in this topic?
Sunoo looked at her with a "I know right?" look and shook his head. "Everyone in the castle has been talking about you and Sunghoon, and how the two of you might be the next pair to be wedded- like Jungwon and Haeyul." He revealed and from then on, Seulhyun was not listening to the prince anymore.
Her mind flooded with questions. Why did people assume such things? How did they create that baseless rumour? And how on earth did it travel until it reaches one of the prince's ears? Was this the reason why Evelyn seemed to dislike her so much?
She placed her hand on her head, feeling it pounding again. At last, she found the reason behind the hostility between the two of them. "Ha..." Seulhyun sighed, bending forward as she rested her forehead on the mattress.
"And, honestly, it's getting quite troublesome since every single time I step foot in the castle with you and Sunghoon, all of their eyes just gawk at us as if we're some kind of prey. I actually wanted to bring this up with Jungwon but decided not to since he might make it a bigger issue and Sunghoon might feel uncomfortable-"
"Since when did you know about this?" Seulhyun interrupted him with a serious intonation causing Sunoo to look at her, baffled.
He tapped his thigh, humming. "Approximately after the meeting where you showed up in pajamas." He told.
Seulhyun looked at him intensely; her eyes opened widely and her face looked as if she had lost all hope. She had to bite her lips to stop her lips from muttering out all of the dirty phrases she knew. A squeaky screech pierced the room and Sunoo gasped, covering his ears, waiting for the girl to stop.
"What is the matter with you?!" Sunoo nagged, rubbing his ears as he could still hear the high-pitched voice echoing in his eardrums.
"You knew and you didn't tell me?!!" Seulhyun exploded and the prince frowned. "You could have saved me a friendship." She whined.
