Naruto: The blood red moon
Naruto's POV
I was falling from atop gamabunta and suddenly I felt 2 arms around me, I looked behind me and saw Chizuki shielding myself from the floor before I heard
BAM
I crawled from out of his grasp and looked to Chizuki to see him limp on what seemed to be a blood floor though it caught him and he didn't have any injuries he was out cold
I tried to stand up but I could only crawl, I saw Sasuke and Sakura before I fell unconscious from chakra exhaustion.
5 hours later
I woke up to see jiraiya at the window looking at me
"Hey Naruto, are you feeling ok?"
I turned to him smiling
"Yeah I'm fine!"
And rubbed the back of my head
"Hey naruto uhm how do I say this... Hiruzen fell to orochimaru in battle"
A wave of emotions went through my mind before I looked down at the blanket over me tears going down my face
"Orochimaru was in disguise as the Kazekage and killed Hiruzen"
"Can I be alone for a bit..?"
"Yeah you can, I'll be back in around 2 hours. I hope you don't take it too bad..."
He left while I felt empty inside, all of those memories of Jiji going through my mind and for him to fall to orochimaru, the same person who placed that seal on sasuke...
I ended up just crying while looking out the window at the village for an hour before I heard a voice behind me
"Hey blondie *Cough* uhm you ok?"
I turned my head to look at him, tears still streaming down my face
"Hey hey what happened" I saw him try to get up and walk but he couldn't, he just looked at me sympathetically
"Hiruzen... Died to Orochimaru"
My tears coming down faster and more and more
"Hey it's not your fault, I know for sure he did what he did to protect this village and more importantly"
"You"
I looked at him confused, we didn't even know each other for that long but those words sounded so... Real
He somehow mustered the strength to raise an arm and make a thumbs up
"Don't be depressed Blondie"
A nurse suddenly opened the door and stuck their head through
"Uzumaki Naruto you can be discharged, your clothes will be in the closet on the wall across from you"
I nodded as I got up and grabbed my clothes before walking to the door though stopped as Chizuki said one last thing
