I almost burst out when Father voiced out the obvious. I wasn't surprised by the news since David and Glenn told me about it before and seeing how Father was treating these witches made it obvious. Like I said before, creatures don't get along since the war, so seeing Kenley here with his grandfather surprised me a little bit but this was Father we are talking about here. He doesn't do something which doesn't favor him and he will do everything in his power to out run Dean.

The other thing that surprised me to no end, is that Father knows that Kenley and I know each other. Did Kenley tell him about us, I am yet to find out.

"You want me to mate with him," I ask Father leaning back on the couch.

"Yes," Father replied with a big smile. I look over at Kenley who was doing everything to hide his eyes away from me.

"If I may ask, why do you want me to mate with him," I ask trying not to snap, I'm so angry right now but I have to handle this wisely. I don't want to hurt Kenley but I want to let my father down the hard way, he will never think about saying it again or thinking of it again.

"Kolan don't ask stupid questions, I choose him for you, that's it" Father snapped glaring at me.

"Father, this is my life" I sit upright glaring back "Don't you think I deserve an explanation why you want me to mate with him as if we are still in the 20th century," I ask politely. Kenley lifted his eyes looking at me with an expression I didn't get. Poor thing is going through this.

"There isn't an explanation Kolan just do as I say" Father gritted out.

"You know he is a witch right" I point at Kenley.

"Do you think I'm stupid, I'm choosing him for you, of course, I know" Father snarled angrily.

"You know it's unacceptable to our society right," I ask the obvious again.

"Why didn't you think about that before sleeping with my grandson" Geisha snarled his eyes dark in anger."Now mate with him, you took his virginity after all, wasn't that enough" Geisha breathed out trying to control his anger. I bit my lip hard, Who told them that Kenley was a virgin when I started sleeping with him? The boy was far from being a virgin, I wanted to tell them but I looked at Kenley who was already looking at me with guilty eyes. I owe this to him, I will never tell on him. This is the least I could do for him.

"Love matters in situations like this," I say looking at Geisha who gave me a scowl. "I don't love him, and he knows it" I snarled angrily. Who the fuck do they think they are. To plan my life without me. To hell with them, I will not mate with Kenley. Why are they forcing us or this was the plan all along?

I remember the day Father hit David in his office, they talked about something about a witch. Was this what they were talking about? Do they have a deal and I was the deal? I need to find out more about this. Dean will get so angry if he heard about this.

"Kolan don't question me, for once do what I fucken tell you," Father growled, he was about to lose it but do I care, no. This is my life and I am going to make sure I take control over it.

"What if I defy you" David stood up instantly glaring at me. "What will happen when I don't mate with him,"  I ask still calm.

"Kolan..." David growled.

"What?" I question.

"Are you out of your damn mind" David growled warningly "Do what Father tells you to, stop being stubborn" he added his fists balling making his knuckles turn white. He had that pitiful look and for a moment I thought he was looking out for me but David is always on Father's side. He agrees with whatever the man says.
