I never thought a day would come and find myself in the position I am in now. Locked in the cage like a dog and on top of that naked. I have been pursuing my mate since I got my conscience back to at least give me a pair of boxer briefs to put on but Dean had refused, saying that it will be a waste since they will rip apart when I change into my wolf.

Thinking about my wolf brings excitement and it warms up my heart. "How do you feel," Dean asked looking away from his computer and gazing at me with those concerned eyes of his.

"Hot" I reply truthfully.

"You don't feel any pain like before," he asked again biting his lips nervously. He was trying to act tough and calm but I can see through him. He was scared for my life, he got scared when I passed out earlier had when I work up he was holding me to his chest for like thirty minutes so scared that he had lost me. The pain was just too much.

And most especially he was scared because hours had passed and I haven't changed. He says it takes ten to fifteen minutes to change but it has now been three hours I haven't expected the exhilarating pain that comes and goes now and then. Dean nodded his head slowly going back to typing something on his computer. I sat back down leaning against the metal bars and looking at my mate.

My hands moved on its accords touching the mark he had gifted me. A smile crept on my lips, I never thought that one day this gorgeous man would be mine. I glanced at his cheekbone, his eyes that I admire so much, his form, his hands that made magic on my body just hours ago wanting to break this cage at this moment so that I can go lie in his chest for hours.

I always pictured what our first time would be like, we will make love seven to eight times. After exhausting ourselves, we take a shower with him washing me and vice-versa, we lay in bed, with him in my arms and me in his, talking about everything and nothing as we joke and play around and sleep in the wee hours but this limited us from doing that.

"Have you ever felt hot before we mated" Dean's rough yet deep voice pulled me out of my fantasy?

"Umm," I was trying to rake my mind if I ever felt hot until it hit me "Yes, the last meeting when I saw you I started feeling things. My body started heating up and sweating" My eyes lit up.

"Oh," Dean said with a smile and nodding his head as if he had found out something.

"What, why did you ask," I say when had looked down without elaborating more.

"You were in heat" he swallows lightening up his cigarette and taking the drug.

"Heat," I was confused.

"Only a person with a mate goes into heat" he explains "That means your wolf is in there and active but it's refusing to come out" he points a finger at me.

"I thought only omegas go into Heat," I ask, I heard that in the past only omegas went into heat, so come that I also had the heat. No wonder I was getting g hard just by looking at him. That explains it.

"Dominants also go in heat but we call it Rut, only if you have a mate" I nod slowly.

"So what's happening now," I ask

"Let us give it time, it will come out eventually" he takes a drug per drug inhaling and exhaling. Before I could reply, I felt the exhilarating pain passing through my head. I instantly held it in my palms squeezing it so hard so that I could stop the pain but it was increasing rapidly. Hot tears started to stream down, followed by saliva. I felt like my head is going to be explored any second now, it was so painful that I could even focus on Dean's voice.

"No," I shouted trashing into the small cage still holding my head. "Shit" I gritted my teeth trying to endure it but it was too much. I didn't even know if I was breathing or not, but all I felt was the piercing pain I felt deep within my brain. "Dean, help me" I moaned in pain trying to reach out to him. Warm hands held my have squeezing it tightly and I watched as his lips moved but I couldn't make out what he was saying. All I saw was his lips moving.
