They all looked at me in surprise and in disbelief, I know what I voiced out was utterly stupid and I know my family will not stop until revenge is served but I had to try. I have been thinking about it for a while and when Dean told me about my cheating mother, I think it was appropriate to say it now. My family had lived a life of hate, deceit, and shame because of her and I think it's time for it to stop here, she doesn't deserve it all.

And I know is no matter what they do, Dean will always be one step ahead of them, they will never win against my man and I'm tired of seeing them humiliate themselves because of a person who died years ago, and on top of that, who isn't worthy of a thing. This has to stop. I feel so guilty, I don't know what Dean is planning but whatever it is, Father will come out of that room as a loser and I honestly feel bad for him.

Father wasn't a good man, I know and in any circumstances, I shouldn't feel bad for him but I feel like he doesn't deserve this. He should just forget about the stupid revenge and move on with his life. I will gladly give him all the alpha duties back and let him start to live his own life in peace but how could I change his mind when all he thinks about is this and to become the king?

"I will give you all the alpha duties back" I try to reason with them but the glares I was receiving made it all clear that they will never agree with what I was saying.

"Kol, Father gave all his duties to you and he can't take them back" Glenn gave me a pierced eye.

"I can talk to the king, I just want us to forget about this. Mother is dead and no matter what we do is useless" The sharp gaze Father gave can make anyone piss in their pants.

"I really don't have time for this and never in your life say that again" Father snapped getting out of the car angry. I sighed deeply as I looked at my brothers who were also looking at me in disbelief.

"What is wrong with you," David asked looking in the rearview mirror and shaking his head from side to side. "Do you think this is the time for your bullshit" he hisses angrily.

"Think about it Dav, this thing has ruined our lives and our family for too long, aren't you both tired of it? Tired of chasing something which we all know that we are gonna lose at," I say honestly.

"Why do you think we are going to lose, what makes you think that," David asked stupidly.

"Really David, Really, do you want me to spell it out for you," I ask my voice lacing in sarcasm.

"And You thought to voice it out now" David snarled "Father is stressed about this, he doesn't need another stress from you, keep your thinking to yourself don't get on the bad side of that man, I warn you Kolan" he got out of the car slamming the door with force.

I sighed lowly, this is all fucked up. Why can't they just forget about the stupid revenge once and for all? Let's just be happy without all this. I looked straight not knowing what to do until Glenn said.

"Why do you want us to forget about this," Glenn asked after taking time to look at me.

"Do you think Mother deserves to be avenged" I instead asked, what's the use of all this when I know the woman wasn't faithful to her mate?

"Mother deserves everything we are doing," Glenn says confidently. "Do you know something that we don't, why all of a sudden do you think that we are gonna lose?" he asked in a worried voice eyeing me.

"Glenn..." I faced him "Why do you think you have Bate blood and we have alpha blood" he tensed up, gulping hard as if he knows something.

"What are you implying," he asked with gritted teeth.
