Leah's POV
Cleo, and I floated in the middle of the moon pool, but it was just Cleo, because she is so stressed out for this full moon tonight. So, here we are, with Cleo floating, and me steadying her up.
I nodded looking to see she was doing great.
"It's no good. I can't relax." She spoke.
"Just close your eyes, and float." I nodded, moving my hand underwater to keep me up.
"I just...keep thinking about tonight." She closed her eyes.
"Well, it's hours away. Until, the full moon actually rises, why worry about it." I reassured her.
She nodded, and took a sigh. "Ok. Your right."
She let her hands float out to her side, taking in a deep breath, I really thought she had it till she let out a stress breath. "I can't do it." She shook her head.
I rolled my eyes, and moved away from her, resting on the underwater rock.
She came back, and swam by me.
"I keep seeing strange things happening." She gave me a worried look, and turned to me.
"The full moon is going to rise anyway. There is nothing we can do about that. So, just think positive we're lucky, Ems parents are going away for the weekend."
"I guess." She looked away from me seeing that I was right.
"Well, should we get, Lewis, and Reed to help us seal the rooms?" She looked at me, hoping I would agree with her.
I shook my head at the mention of the two. "Lewis, and Reed have other interest these days remember?" I gave her an head tilt. I did want Reed to come, but I know it's for the better.
Cleo, must have gotten a little angry in what I had said about, Lewis and splashed me with water.
I gasped, and smiled at her. "Come on then, let's go meet up with Rikki, and Em." I shook my head with an smile, and pulled my head down into the water, leaving the cave, with Cleo by my side.
...
We walked into the cafe, with Emma just now ending her shift, and Ash following her, as they spoke.
"Hey, I was thinking about tonight?" Ash gave an knowing smile, as I listened.
"What about tonight?" Emma said dumbfounded.
"How about me, you, and Italian food?" He tried to set up a date.
"Um, no." Emma quickly replied looking our way.
"You, me, and Greek food?" Ash tried again with an slight chuckle.
"Definitely not tonight. My parents are away, and I have homework, to catch up on." Emma was about to walk in the cool room, till ash grabbed her hand stopping her. "You, me, and anything?" He desperately tried to seal the deal.
I smiled at the two.
"I've gotta get changed." Emma replied, letting go of his hand, and walking away.
Ash scoffed, and turned to us. "Is it me?" He asked us.
"No." I quickly said.
"It's not you." Rikki finished.
Cleo, gave him a awkward smile, and walked past him, as we followed behind her to see Emma.
...
"So what's with the Ash thing?" Rikki leaned on the door, looking at Emma.
"There's no Ash thing. If there was an Ash thing, I'd tell you. There's no Ash thing, trust me." She looked at me, and sat down some of her stuff.
