I don't know who is more excited for my Date with Jake on Friday, me or the girls.

Hallie's sister Haidyn picks us up right after school and we were all ecstatic! She takes us to get some food before our shopping adventure. The girls all tell me that I need to get a dress! There's nothing else I can wear. They start to get confused when I walk into an insanely expensive store.

"Um JJ, do think you can afford a dress in here?" Hallie says trying not to be rude.

Without thinking I say, "It's no big deal, I'll ask my Daddy for some money."

Hallie looks at me in shock. "Who IS your dad? And how does he have this much money?"

CRAP! I almost blew my cover. "Um, he's a lawyer in New York. He's only with us a few months of the year."

Hallie, still looking confused, believes every word of it. "Alright then. Let's go try on some dresses!!"

We walk inside and I am overwhelmed by beautiful dresses. I walk up to the associate and she remembers me of course from when I've been here with my Mother and Aunt Gen.

"Ahhh, Ms. Justice Ack..." She begins to say as I cut her off.

"Uh haha hello Sydnee. I'm looking for an evening dress. Something fancy, but not too fancy. I'm going on a date with this guy and need the perfect dress."

I told Sydnee about my undercover situation as my friends began looking for dresses. Sydnee knew exactly what to do. "What colors are you looking for Ms. JJ."

"I was thinking maybe a red, or a navy blue. Maybe even a white. I could wear my mothers pearls too."

"Beautiful! Let me find you something nice."

Sydnee goes and finds me six evening dresses. Some were sleeveless. Some were longer, and some were shorter. I didn't know what to choose.

I tried on plenty of dresses. None of them spoke out to me. I was finally about to give up, when Sydnee came around the corner with a beautiful navy blue dress. It had ruffles all down the base of it as it flowed down I front of me. The top was absolutely gorgeous and I could imagine it with my mothers pearls on too.

I knew this was the dress. I laughed because having my friends with me and Sydnee made me feel like I was on "Say YES to the Dress".

I bought the dress with my Daddy's credit card, and was so excited to go get some shoes to match. The next store over was practically a shoe warehouse. I always absolutely loved walking in and smelling the smell of brand new shoes. The girls and I set off to find me the perfect pair of shoes. We looked through flats, and sandals, and pumps and converse until we almost gave up. Finally the sales associate could tell we were about to quit and came over to help us out.

"How are we doing tonight ladies?" She said smiling.

"We need some help. I'm trying to get a pair of shoes to go with this dress." I said super upset.

Her eyes lit up with excitement. "I have the PERFECT pair!!"

She ran off to the back and pulled a pair off the shelf. She brought it back over to us and we were so amazed with how beautiful the shoes went with the dress.

"Oh my Cas!! These are gorgeous!" Hallie almost screamed.

I tried them on and it was if they were meant for me. We payed for the shoes and walked outside so relieved that I found an outfit, as well as the fact that we could GO EAT!! Shopping is exhausting and we were ready to get some food in us.

After the fun, Haidyn dropped us all off at home. I hugged each of them, thanking them for their help.

Once I got home, Tom was like a little squirrel. He wanted to see the dress so bad. I told him no, I was going to make him wait until Friday. I didn't want him to spoil anything for Jake.

I couldn't even wait. I had a beautiful dress. Gorgeous shoes. Hallie was coming over to do my hair, and finally... The thought continued to cross my mind... I was going out with THE JAKE!! Who every girl in the school wanted a date with.

I just couldn't wait until Friday.
