The wind was howling as if a storm was coming, but the sky showed no sign of it.
Maybe i shouldn't listen to the whisper of the wind... come with me... you can be free...
I was free. I was in the land of freedom, America, right? Or so they say.
I just came here. To learn.
This school is not the best in the world, it's not even the best in the neighborhood! If it was, i wouldn't have a reason to take my car with me, no reason to dress up like a hipster, and no reason to take care of my hair. But this is America we're talking about, so even a teeny tiny carelessness could doom me to the depths of unpopularity and bullied students.
I got up and entered the huge school (I only saw such schools in movies). I just came for a tour at the end of the day so there would be no students, because, if there were, I wouldn't have seen anything.
My tall stature did catch the attention of some late students, but i couldn't care less. In my country I would be considered normal, but here... I am just tall and curvy, possibly a prostitute or a girl who likes boys.
After prof. Tickle, my homeroom teacher, showed me the vast territory of the school, he asked me to go back by myself. Maybe I got lost one way or many other, but the sound of music led me to the music room. A piano. A song i love. See you again...!!!
I entered the room and there was a tall and skinny guy, who seemed to be my age or older, swinging his fingers across the keys, playing one of my favorite songs. he suddenly stopped and looked at me.
"Sorry, go on. I just want to listen" I said immediately.
"Do you know the song?" he asked in a very low pitched voice.
"Of course! See you again, Charlie Puth, no? Furious 7?
"Yes..."
"Sorry! I love this song and I always wanted to learn it! Do you mind if you teach me?"
"Sure.. I guess... Do you know how to use a piano?"
"More or less" I said as I sat down on the bench next to him and I straightened my posture in order to look like a first rate pianist.
He was covered in light black clothes, typical for October, but that didn't explain his lemon smell.
