This meant war.

I told Cassey and Miranda about everything that has happened and decided that I will fight for Arthur.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe! You and Miranda already have a boyfriend and I can't find a boy yet..." Cassey cried.

"Don't worry, girl, the right time for you will come. For me, it has come now. And he's not my boyfriend yet."

"Yet."

"Yet."

"Girl, you're gonna rock it, and I know it because you're Mary, no? So go ahead and snatch him and make him yours. Do you have a plan yet?"

"Barely. Maybe. Somehow. I know the main idea and the point. "

"And these are..."

"I'm not gonna tell you. No spoilers."

"Awh, come on, girl! Tell us!" Miranda snapped.

I took my bag and left their table as I laughed wickedly.

Now what.

I waited till the end of classes which seemed like forever, and rushed to the music room.

-Arthur -

She knocked at the door 7 times, then entered. I was staring at the window and she moved like a cat, without a sound.

"Surprise!" Olivia yelled as she hugged me from behind.

I got out of that embrace and asked : "What are you doing?!"

"You thought I was Miss NotfromAmerica, no?"

"Who?!"

"You know... The tall brunette who's been hanging out around this music room recently... The one you were trying to kiss yesterday... Did you do that afterwards?"

"Are you insane?! You completely ruined the mood!"

"I said I was sorry. It was an accident."

"It seems pretty hard to believe that. Just when I was thinking that maybe God wanted us to be together..."

"What? You believe in such things? Come on, Arty, don't be embarrassing."

"Such a shame that you have the voice for gospel music, but you're definitely wasting it."

"I'm not wasting my voice. Here: I learned a song. Do you know Amazing Grace?"

"I don't really want to hear it from your mouth, but it might be worth a try."

I sat down and started to play the keys, as she started: "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound...That saved a wretch like me... I was lost, but now am found... Was blind, but now I see..." I stopped, not being able to hear more, knowing that she's still a wretch and she was singing half-assed.

Just when I was about to tell Olivia to go away, I saw Mary at the door, looking at the two of us with uncertain eyes. For a second I thought they were pretty red and watery... but...She wasn't, really...

"Mary, dear, how are you doing?" Olivia greeted.

"I am not a music expert, but I know gospel isn't sung that way" she answered.

"What do you mean?"

"You have no tangency with the content at all; there's no amazing and no amazing grace."

"How dare you?" she snapped.

Olivia doesn't like to be criticized.

"Can you sing it, then?" Olivia challenged Mary.

I wanted to hear it.

"No, I already told you that I don't have anything to do with music. I wasn't trying to be mean, just give you a tip."

"Then you should get your ass out of the music room!" Olivia yelled and Mary left without looking too upset, rather happy.

As I said the other day, she was full of surprises.
