"You know, Mary dear, you should take a break. I know that you love Melody and all, but... a white hair has grown on you! You should relax... at least today..." Judie told Mary with a genuine worried face. Mary sighed and looked at the small Melody. She really spend all of her time with her and and was feeling that she couldn't be apart from her not even an hour...

"I don't know..."

"Come on, I will take care of her, you can go with Arty someplace nice and have a good time, okay?"

Mary was fidgeting. Melody and Arthur meant the world for her and she didn't really know if she could not spend time with both.

"Don't you trust me?" Judie made a disappointed face which melted Mary.

"No no no no no, I do, I really do! But..."

"Okay, call Arty now and make sure you dress nice, I'll take care of Melli!"

Mary got up from her armchair and looked once again at Melody, then she thanked her mother in law. She went upstairs where she found Arthur working on something. She put her hands on his back and leaned on him, whispering in his ear:

"Let's go somewhere for dinner..."

Arthur turned to look surprised at his wife. She had a gentle smile on her face, and he realized it was his mom that set everything up. He nodded and smiled back, for which he kissed her forehead.

They dressed up and got in the car, Arthur driving.

"So, where do you want to go?"

"Somewhere where we can look at the stars and talk while we eat some kebab."

"You went from smooth to kebab in a second."

"I haven't done that in a long time. Let's get some McDonald's."

Arthur thought for a second, then nodded.

"Best choice. Are you sure you don't want any chocolate or something?"

"I ate chocolate today. Maybe we can drop by Starbucks' too and take come frappuccinos."

"Yes, let's do that."

They drove to McDonald's and ordered 2-3 double cheeseburgers, then went to Starbucks' and took what they wanted, then they went on the top of the hill and sat on the front of the car, gazing at the stars and munching the food.

"Arthur?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, Elsa."

"Did you see that Melody has your eyes?"

"And your hair."

"And your nose..."

"And your laugh..."

"And your smell."

"What's my smell?"

"Lemons."

"I see. You smell like an autumn breeze, full of orange leaves and of music."

"What music?"

"Dunno. You smell like music."

"You're my favorite type of music."

"Yeah, you too."
