"Mary, come here!" Arthur's voice could be heard in the whole house.

"I'm tying to, but... catch me if I fall down the stairs!" Mary's hoarse voice answered soon after. Then she coughed three times.

"You won't fall, I promise" Arthur assured her.

After some good minutes, wrapped in a blanket like a caterpillar, her face a shade of unrecognizable yellow, her nose red like a reindeer's and her hair messy and unbrushed. Arthur bit his lip at the sight of his dear wife, since she rarely caught colds.

This year was their first Christmas together as a family and they were preparing for a big party... when Mary's cold struck. Arthur was left to do almost everything alone and the most hurt by that was Mary.

"I think I know how to cheer you up" Arthur kindly smiled. He waited till Mary reached him in the living room, which was unusually dark, and hugged her by the shoulders.

"Careful, I don't want it to catch you too" she drove him away but pointlessly, because her strength was a number with minus. He kept holding her by the shoulders with one arm and with the other he pushed a button on the switch he was holding. Suddenly, the room lit up from a Christmas tree in one corner of the room, near the window. The yellow lights were joyfully dancing through the room and Mary's eyes also light up.

"It's Christmas!" she gasped then realization struck her. "I shouldn't be lazing around, even with a cold! The guests are coming in the afternoon, right? We don't have much time!"

Arthur chuckled then took her hands in his and looked dearly at her. When his mouth opened, instead of the expected 'I love you', something else came. His way of saying that.

"The window is open, so's that door"He started dancing through the room and lighting it all up.

"I didn't know they did that anymore...
Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates?
For years I've roamed these empty halls
Why have a ballroom with no balls?

Finally they're opening up the gates..." he caught Mary's hands again and started dancing with her.

"There'll be actual real live people

It'll be totally strange
But wow, am I so ready for this change!" They both chuckled and Mary wanted to sing too, but they both knew that it would be better for both of them to just listen.

"'Cause for the first time in forever

There'll be music, there'll be light
For the first time in forever
I'll be dancing through the night

Don't know if I'm elated or gassy
But I'm somewhere in that zone
'Cause for the first time in forever

I won't be alone... With you." Mary made a wry face as Arthur leaned on the wall. She knew what was coming.

"I can't wait to meet everyone! [gasp]

What if I meet... the one?

Tonight imagine me gown and all
Fetchingly draped against the wall
The picture of sophisticated grace
I suddenly see him standing there
A beautiful stranger, tall and fair
I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face

But then we laugh and talk all evening,
Which is totally bizarre
Nothing like the life I've led so far..."

Mary chuckles all the time and didn't think he'd actually sing that. He imitated Anna's voice quite well.

"For the first time in forever

There'll be magic, there'll be fun
For the first time in forever
I could be noticed by someone

And I know it is totally crazy
To dream I'd find romance
But for the first time in forever

At least I've got a chance"

Mary glared at him as a joke but they both couldn't restrain their laughter. Then she gained some guts and started singing Elsa's part:

" Don't let them in, don't let them see

Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, put on a show
Make one wrong move and everyone will know"

"But it's only for today !

It's agony to wait ..."

"Tell the guards to open up the gate "

"The gate... For the first time in forever "

"Don't let them in, don't let them see "

" I'm getting what I'm dreaming of "

"Be the good girl you always have to be "

" A chance to change my lonely world "

"Conceal"

"A chance to find true love "

" Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know "

"I know it all ends tomorrow,

So it has to be today
'Cause for the first time in forever
For the first time in forever

Nothing's in my way!" Then Mary tackles Arthur to the sofa.

"Let's start the preparations, Anna" and they both laugh.
