It's week 21 and we are delving into a short, enemies to lovers story that will you with all the warm and fuzzies!
Right from the start of this story we are introduced to a very head strong, determined young Princess who seems to know exactly who she is. Halle makes for an interesting main character in this story because there are moments when I really didn't like her or her arrogance, but it was fun to go on a journey with her as she realised she needed to listen and to accept help when it was offered. Her growth throughout the story made for an interesting read and I loved seeing her come out at the end as a much better person.
The enemies to lovers transition for Silakai and Halle worked really well throughout and it was fun to see them work together and realise that they did care about each other through each chapter. It was nice to see their growth throughout the story and to have them finally come to terms with each other presence.
I loved the worldbuilding throughout this story Autumn really does make Eldris come alive. From the magical elements of the story, to the individual descriptions of each aspect of the world, it all feels realistic and a little magical. It's clear that a lot of thought and care went into this story and the world that Autumn is building.
If you're looking for a short, cute read and happen to enjoy the enemies to lovers trope, this is a story I would definitely recommend for you. It has the drama and world of a brilliant fantasy story intertwined with the romance and the progression of Halle and Silakai's relationship. This story also has killer character development for our heroine.
