Blurb:

All her life, Erina wanted to fit in. To live a normal life. To find her place in the world. Until, one night as she returns home from a party, she stumbles upon the world of vampires, shifters, and witches. The secrets they hold and her role among them.

---

Centurians means those who are born every hundred years, on the first day of the new century. Chosen by nature to keep balance between the four species. The mark of magic on their wrist. Their fate bound them together once more. Bounded by the humans for life. With each other by fate. By soul with the shifters, by blood with the eidolons and by magic with the witchers. And by death with Evergreen.

They keep the balance. Their birth and death marks the beginning and end of a century. But the last Centurians were born a thousand years ago.

Goose's Thoughts:

Welcome to a new week, and a brand new Fantasy story!

This story, although with very few chapters at the time I'm posting this, has a really interesting premise that can definitely grow into something as the story progresses. Hana has a great skill in creating tension in her writing, specifically in the prologue which helps to establish the world that will be explored later on in the story.

What I loved about this story is how the opening chapters (baring the prologue) are just so simple and normal. It's fun to start off in such a normal, somewhat familiar world with the promise of things being turned on their head a little later in the story. There is the hint of what is to come with Erina's dream in the opening chapter, the prologue, and the mention of people going missing, but it really builds to this point.

I will say that this story could do with some work in terms of tense shifts and really increasing the tension throughout the story. It is definitely a good start and has some real potential to grow as the story progresses. Erina is certainly an interesting character and there is a lot of illusion to her past which I'm curious to learn more about.

Overall, a great start to the story!

Thank you for writing (and suggesting) the story, Hana!
