DESTINED TO GET THE THRONE

THE GOOD NEWS AND THE INTRODUCTIONS

I woke up to someone knocking on my door. It was a bright day. Sunrays were peeping through my window on the walls of my room. Reluctantly I walked to the door and found our maid standing. "Good morning ma'am" she said. "Good morning I said. "There was a call from Sofia ma'am saying they are returning today and that you don't need to come and pick them up at the airport, they will be coming on their own." She said. I started jumping up and down and maid stared laughing seeing me like that "okay! Perfect! I am coming in 10 minutes. You please go and continue your work. I will discuss the rest of the things after I come down." I said smiling. I was so excited that I was not able to control my excitement. "Okay ma'am," she said and went away.

After 10 minutes, I walked out of my room and sighed looking everywhere while going downstairs because our parents were not there, we have created a mess while enjoying ourselves in the house. Our house is no less than a palace at least for me. We have a very huge garden after the main gate, always maintained by my mom and sisters along with a maid and gardener. Then we enter our house and have a huge hall where we sisters spend almost all our time then towards its left we have a drawing room, next to it is a small library room maintained by me then we have our kitchen and dining room, which is very beautifully maintained by my mom. Then in the centre of the hall, we have stairs leading us upstairs, after we go upstairs we have a total of 5 rooms.

The middle one is of my parents, probably the master bedroom in the house. Then to its left, we have my bedroom and my sister Catalina's bedroom then towards the right we have Mellina and Marina's bedroom respectively after the two rooms we have stairs leading us to the second floor of the house, which has 3 large rooms, one is a conference room where we have conferences sometimes, then towards the left we have a theatre room which comprises of a big theatre television and 50 seats. Then towards the right, we have a sports room where we have space for playing table tennis, carom, basketball etc then next to the room we have a staircase leading us to the terrace which has a swing attached to its roof to swing and at the backyard of the house we have cricket court, football court and badminton court too. I used to play badminton in my schooling years but with the time I stopped playing it or maybe I find it less interesting now.

I was standing in the middle of the kitchen thinking about what dessert to make for tonight's dinner everyone was so excited because Mom and Dad were returning after 1 year from Spain. They had gone there for a business trip. My father, MARK SHANE is a businessman, with a very kind-hearted personality, I love him so much. And my mother, SOFIA FERNANDEZ SHANE is a housewife now but was a very famous model once, I resemble her so much, she is a very sweet and adoring lady. I missed them so much. I thought we would pick them up but Uncle James said that he would pick them up while coming here for dinner and with that my plan failed of picking them up.

I came out of my thinking when Catalina shouted my name sounding irritated. "Katherina? Where have you zoned out? What are you thinking?" I smiled and hugging her I said "I am just excited that our parents are returning tonight. I missed them so much." "Me too." She said. I came towards the hall and took a seat at the dining table because I was tired of standing for the last three hours helping my maid and sisters in cooking for dinner.

I am KATHERINA FERNANDEZ SHANE, the eldest daughter of Mark Shane and Sofia Fernandez Shane. I am 22 years old, I am 5.4', beautiful (everyone says me that) pursuing fashion designing to get into business with my father, introverted personality but am very extrovert with my mother love reading books and pencil sketching, I have dreams to launch a brand one day. "Katherina what are you wearing tonight?" asked Catalina. "Mmm..... maybe the blue evening gown," I said.

This is my sister, the second daughter of the Shane couple. CATALINA FERNANDEZ SHANE, 20 years old, 5.4', beautiful, pursuing fashion designing just like me, very extrovert and friendly personality, loves singing and gardening, wants to help my dad in business. Now I decided that I would make Tiramisu – the Italian dessert at which I am an expert.

I went to the kitchen to start because, in the next four hours, my parents would be there. As soon as I saw Mellina covered in flour standing in front of the kitchen cabinet I started laughing. This is MELLINA FERNANDEZ SHANE. My sister and twin sister of Marina, the third daughter of my mom and dad. 5.2', gorgeous, She is pursuing training to become a psychologist at VHCMS (Victoria Hospital and College of Medical Sciences).not so introvert, she is very dedicated to her work, she is very kind-hearted, she too loves reading books just like me. She whined at my laughing, "Katherina!? Will you please stop laughing and help Marina? As I will just get changed and come back." "Sure," I said.

With that, she went off and Marina was busy plating salad, and decorating it. "It's beautiful Marina!" I said and she just smiled looking towards me. This is MARINA FERNANDEZ SHANE, a 5.2' gorgeous lady, she is the other twin sister to Mellina .she is pursuing a degree to become a writer. She loves writing a lot, she also loves painting and gardening, her skills are very much visible in our beautiful garden. She wants to become a famous writer someday.

These are my gorgeous and kind-hearted sisters Catalina and the twins Mellina and Marina. I just love my family a lot. Everyone is so perfect in my family. I thought am I so perfect? Like my family? Well, maybe I can be like my parents someday.

After two hours, my tiramisu was ready at the table. I decided to go and get ready upstairs as all my sisters were already there getting ready for our beautiful dinner party. We have a very huge business here in London. We own a fashion designing company along with the D'Silva family which is TFSH (THE Fashion Style Hub). we and the D'Silva family are running two brands of clothing, ROSIE and SAPHIRE respectively.
