DESTINED TO GET THE THRONE

THE ANNOUNCEMENTS

After one week of our wedding, Uncle James decided to announce the new positions of the company and the engagement of Catalina with David and Marina with Dalon. The four of them talked to Uncle James and Daniel regarding this it seems and I was unaware of it until two days before it's not like I object but as an elder sister I should have known anyways I am happy for my sisters and of course, I will support them in their all the right decisions. I am glad that they chose the D'Silva brothers as their life partners because however they are they know how to maintain their personal and professional life also they know how important relations are. Lastly, I am happy about their decisions.

Daniel and Uncle James said that first there will be a meeting held with the current board of directors to discuss its affairs and the new positions. It was a meeting of nearly five hours. I still remember the day it was Monday of the same week, on Saturday the Press Conference was supposed to be held along with the engagements.

The week passed in a wink of an eye with all the arrangements and decorations it was decided that the Press Conference and engagements would be held in the D'Silva Villa.

It was a beautiful evening on Saturday, my sisters were ready and Daniel's brothers were waiting for them on the stage. Every media person and all the relatives, family and friends were present, slow music was playing in the background and everything was just perfect.

I was in my room doing my final touches. When Uncle James came to my room and sat on the chair of my study table "I am very nervous and upset too, Uncle." I said going near him "I am missing my father a lot." I said he sighed "This empire which was built by your father is your responsibility now, you are the queen of this now," said Uncle James. I sighed deeply, tears pooling up in my eyes I turned to face him now.

"I know Uncle, I know. It's just that I wanted my parents to see this, all of this" tears flowing down my cheeks now. I wiped them and then Uncle James said in a very strong voice. "You are destined to get the throne."

I walked to the door and found Daniel standing there waiting for me I smiled, and he forwarded his hand and asked "Are you ready to face the world?" I said "YES" and with that, we started walking down the stairs Uncle James behind us following I was remembering my dad very much today. I know he loved me a lot and maybe he was watching us from the heavens but I wanted him to be by my side like always, to hold me like his princess and say that everything was perfect and that I should not get scared of anything. But again he was not there I came out of my thinking as Marina shouted my name out of excitement. "KATHERINA!!!" I turned and she hugged me so tightly that I was feeling suffocated so I just got back and Daniel started laughing seeing us and I smiled.

After the engagements were done, the rings were exchanged and new relations were made. Now it was time for the new business affairs to be done. Uncle James went towards the stage and took the mic from the host and winked towards me he was looking at me I smiled and Daniel came and stood beside me "Attention Everyone!!" Uncle James said and continued "Now I am making the announcement of the new positions of the company till now me and my best friend Mark handled it but he left me on this journey may his soul rest in peace." He smiled towards me and I returned the smile.

He then started the announcement of new positions "There are four shareholders of the company two were anonymous and one was mine and the other one was Mark's. So, the two anonymous shares were recently bought by our brand ambassadors Aiden Dominic and Clare Miller respectively then my share was taken over by my son 'Daniel D'Silva' and Mark's share is taken by his daughter 'Katherina Shane' I request new shareholders to join me here on the stage." with that we joined him. Media was continuously clicking our pictures I am sure tomorrow's newspaper will be filled with our headlines. "Now coming to the board of directors it is me, Mr Daniel D'Silva, Mrs Katherina Shane D'Silva, Mr David D'Silva and Miss Catalina Shane." after every announcement the room was filled with loud applause and congratulations to members. Uncle James continued "Okay, so let's continue with the Managing Directors of the company. Mrs Katherina and Mr Aiden. Then coming to the Chief Officers of the company-Mr. Alex as CEO, Mrs Clare as CFO, Miss Aila as COO, and Mr Aiden as CLO. Congratulations to all the Chief Officers for the new positions." The announcements were going well and everyone was listening patiently. He then continued "Now, the Managers, Miss Catalina Shane – Recruitment Manager, Mr. Nathan – Stores Manager, Mrs. Maria Graham – Technology Manager, Mr. Thomas – Regional Manager, Mrs. Ezra – Functional Manager, Miss Rebecca – Departmental Manager and Mr. Luke – General Manager. The two brands of our company ROSIE and SAPHIRE will be handled by Shane Family and D'Silva Family respectively. With this, I come to the end of the announcements. I wish all the very best to the complete new staff of the company and may you have a fruitful journey ahead." The room roared up with loud applauses and cheering and with this the ceremonies came to an end. And I became the Queen of the Throne which my father left for me.
