DESTINED TO GET THE THRONE

THE EXPOSE OF UNCLE'S FAMILY

We entered and we were welcomed by Aunt Christina and Uncle Lucifer. I observed their house was not as big and spacious as ours. They had less number of rooms. We four were asked to stay in a single room. Aunt Christina showed us the way to our room. In our room, we had two double beds. I shared one with Catalina and Mellina, Marina shared the other. We unpacked our luggage and soon our room was ready by evening. We were not invited for lunch; we all were hungry so we went downstairs. Lucy was standing at the end of the staircase "Are you guys hungry?" she asked us. "Yeah actually we got so busy arranging and setting up our room; we lost track of the time. By what time will we get our dinner? Or can we eat anything now?" I asked her. "Ohho! Give a stop to your questions Katherina. First of all, don't think of yourselves as a family you are our guests and the second is that we give only two meals to guests that is morning and night. Okay?" we saw each other's faces shocked. Sighing we all went towards the living room. I saw Alfred and Uncle Lucifer sitting there Uncle Lucifer came outside "Come, all of you. Let's have dinner and then I want to talk to you about your future, especially you Katherina." I just nodded but that felt more than that as if something else I couldn't make out. we were given bread and butter for dinner we just glanced at each other and ate our dinner silently. Alfred, Aunt Christina and Lucy were making some jokes and laughing. I found it unnecessary. We completed our dinner. I asked we are going to sleep, Uncle. Do you want to speak anything?" Uncle was going to speak when Alfred said something in his ears. He nodded and said to me "You stay back Katherina. Others can go to sleep." They looked worried at me. I nodded at my sisters and said "You all go, I will join soon."

We all were sitting in the living room; Alfred and Lucy were on one couch at my left side, on my right side was Aunt Christina and at the front seat Uncle Lucifer. At my back side, there was a wall. I was surrounded by all four sides. Uncle sighed deeply and said "Listen Katherina; now that your parents are gone I want you to sign the whole company in my name. I want to own the whole company THE FASHION STYLE HUB, so that I can take proper care of all of you." Then Aunt Christina said, "You know as the family members are increased now, it's difficult." I knew it! So this was all done because he thought I would sign the company to him. But do I have its rights? Like after my dad, did I own it? I know it's a partnership in D'Silvas, So do I own my father's share now? "But how can I do that?" I asked. "Oh! Your father made the will that after him all shares of the company are owned by you" said Alfred. "NO! I won't do that." I answered. Everyone got angry; I can say that by their expressions. "Why? Will you just sit in our home and it?" asked Lucy. "I didn't want to come, it was Uncle who insisted me on coming" I answered shrugging. "Damn it! It's all because you will give your shares of the company to Dad" said Alfred bunging his hands on the table in front. "No! I won't do that" I said. Aunt Christina said, "See, Katherina you will do that because you want to stay here right?" "No I can go back to my home," I said angrily. Alfred held my hair in his hands and pulled me back and said to me "Listen girl you will do as we say or you will bear the consequences". I tried to free myself but it was hard, I pushed him and stood up. "I am leaving right now" I announced and ran upstairs only to find my room locked from the outside. I tried to open it but failed. I was tense because I was not alone. My three sisters were stuck inside. I turned to go down so that I can climb from the window to the room but I found Alfred and Lucy standing there both angry; before I could say or do anything Alfred bet me with a rod on the forehead. My head started spinning, I felt blood coming out and flowing down my face before I could do anything I fainted in front of the room which was locked with my sisters inside.

I woke up to someone calling my name. I opened my eyes and my head started hurting badly. I tried to touch and hold my head but found my hands tied at the backside, I didn't remember anything. Worriedly I looked here and there. It was a dark basement-like place with a single yellow bulb hanging. That's when I realised and remembered everything. I was tied up on a chair, in the basement of my Uncle's house. I looked around to find my other three sisters were doing the same but they were away from me. One person was tied to one pillar in the basement. All of us were awake. I wanted to talk to them but my head was hurting really bad. And again darkness engulfed me.

I woke up when I felt something cold on my face and shoulders. I opened my eyes to see Lucy standing there with a bottle in her hands. The water she threw n me was very cold. I gasped for air. "For how many days are you going to sleep, Miss Katherina? Idiot. What do you think about this haan??" she asked. I just stared at her without doing anything. She went away. I looked around only to find my sisters in a bad condition we were tied in such a way that we could face each other but cannot do anything.
