THE PHONE CALL AND THE SHOCKING NEWS

So for tonight's dinner, the D'Silva family and the D'Cruz family were invited too. D'Cruz's family were my mother's friend and Mrs.D'Silva's sister's family so they were invited too. As I was doing the finishing touches to my makeup I heard my phone ring, till I reached it, it got silent I picked up my phone and checked the number it was unknown, so I kept it aside and checked myself last time in the mirror, I was wearing a blue evening gown with full sleeves and my hair was done in a low messy bun. "Perfect! Katherina" I said to myself and started going down the stairs when my phone started ringing again. This time I picked it up but couldn't hear what was the other person saying and with that, it again got disconnected. I sighed and went to the garden where the dinner table was arranged.

All my sisters were gathered there "Good evening, Shane sisters!" I exclaimed. They all were beautifully dressed in their evening gowns, Mellina and Marina were dressed in dark blue gowns and Catalina was dressed in a light blue gown like me. "Everyone is looking very beautiful, sisters!" said Marina to which everyone smiled.

My phone started ringing again; I picked it up "Miss. Katherina?" asked some boy from the other side. I moved to a side and answered "Yes, I am here. May I know who is this speaking?" "I am a receptionist from Victoria Hospital and College of Medical Sciences(VHCMS); I called you to inform you that Mrs And Mr Shane are admitted here to the hospital and are critically injured, they were brought here after a severe car accident." After hearing that I was not able to comprehend anything it was like my whole world came crashing on me and I was not able to respond anything but still I managed to say "yeah, okay. I am coming". Then I went towards my sisters and informed them. Catalina started crying, Mellina too was crying but was also holding Catalina and Marina. Then I called out for the maid and informed her that we are going to the hospital and as soon as we reached the gate I found D'Silva's family and D'Cruz's family entering from the main gate "You said you would pick up Mom and Dad. Why didn't you go?" I asked Uncle James. "He said they would come by themselves". He said looking all shocked and concerned "They did not turn up; they are admitted after a severe car accident. We all are going there". I said. "We will come along with you". Said Uncle James.

And then we all went to the hospital to see the condition of my parents.

We reached the hospital after one hour that one hour was the most restless hour of my life. As if every second was passing like an hour Mr D'Silva or Uncle James is like my dad to me, JAMES D'SILVA is 65 years old, 5.6', Sweet, kind-hearted, handsome old man, he is a businessman and second shareholder of the company. He is been in friendship with my dad since their college days this is what my dad said to me and because they don't have a daughter, He and Mrs D'silva, ANNA FERREIRA D'SILVA likes me a lot. She is 64 years old, 5.4', Sweet, adoring, caring and lovable lady. She is a housewife, she and my mom met at some business conference, since then she is my mom's best friend and I also love her a lot. Mr and Mrs D'Silva have 3 sons Daniel, David and Dalon. I and Daniel used to play a lot till our teenage after that we used to meet very less only at conferences, dinners and parties. DANIEL D'SILVA. 26 years old, 5.8' all good looking. And the obedient son of the D'silva couple. MD of the company, a loving brother of the D'Silva brothers, loves playing football and reading books and is very strict when it comes to business. DAVID D'SILVA. The second son of the D'Silva couple, 24 years old, 5.8', all good looking and handsome, adoring and caring, loves playing online games and football, is CEO of the company. Is very strict when it comes to business just like his elder brother. DALON D'SILVA. Third son of the D'Silva couple, 19 years old, 5.4', handsome young man, loves his family a lot. We went to the doctor'sroom following the nurse "Please wait here till the doctor comes" she said andwent away.
