Lexi had just woken up and walked downstairs to see Jesse, Joey, Danny, Stephanie, and D.J all in the kitchen.
"Good morning!" Lexi walked down the stairs fully and before she even can settle in she noticed a pot on the table move "what is that?"
"That? Oh, it's dinner. Roast beef. Yeah, roast beef." Danny lies to try and hide the fact of the turtle underneath.
The then pot moves some more.
"and where is our roast beef going?" D.J turns to her father in confusion.
"It's going to the oven." Joey helps Danny out.
DJ lifts the pot revealing a turtle. Jesse comes upstairs from the basement.
"Roast beef comes from turtles?" Stephanie shouts dumbfounded, while Lexi stays frozen.
"Not my turtle, it doesn't. I love this amphibian." Jesse eyes the turtle.
"I love him, too. Can we keep him?" Stephanie turns to her father with pleading eyes.
"Of course we can keep him. Bubba's a hero!" Jesse smiled.
"Uncle Jesse, we'll take care of him for you." D.J assured.
"All right." Jesse smiled once again.
"Are you sure, honey? It's a big responsibility." Danny reminded the girls.
"No problem." D.J waved him off.
"Lex come say hi to Bubba." Jesse inches the turtle closer.
As Lexi backs away "No, No, No!" She screams. It was true Lexi had a free of turtle ever since her and her friends went to a lake and a turtle bit her finger.
"Come on Lexi it's just a turtle." Stephanie says confused on the fact.
"It's not just a turtle it's gonna bite my face off!" Lexi jumps into Joeys arms hiding from the turtle.
"Let's go get Bubba settled. He looks a little pasty." Jesse stares into Bubbas face.
Jesse and DJ run upstairs with Bubba leaving Stephanie, Danny, Joey, and Lexi.
"what a great day, we get a turtle and Grandma's coming to visit." Stephanie beamed brightly.
"Stephanie. Sweetheart, honey, baby. Did you just say Grandma's coming?" Danny looked shocked.
"That's what she said on the phone." Stephanie shrugged while Joey put down Lexi softly.
"Well, why didn't you say something?" Danny asked the little girl.
"Nobody asked me." Stephanie calmly answered.
"Steph, it's not possible for me to ask you every question. Do you know how many questions there are in the world?" Danny asked the 5 year old.
