Lexi approached the Tanner house and stopped turning to DJ. She really wanted new shoes but they weren't just any shoes, they were Tennis shoes.

"Okay, I'm gonna ask my dad, you ask yours. We'll be the raddest kids in 8th grade." Lexi grinned wide, DJ nodded and opened the door. "Hi, Uncle Danny is my dad home?" Lexi grinned.

"He's upstairs." Danny pointed already picking out that she wanted something from her father.

Lexi nodded and ran upstairs, she dropped her backpack by her bedroom door and walked in. Jesse was sitting on his bed and strummed his guitar mumbling soft words to a song under his breath.

"Hi, Dad!" Lexi smiled and gave him a hug kissing his cheek. "You're hair looks great today, and you're playing that guitar beautifully. Oh, and what a nice shirt you have. Did I mention your hair looks fantastic?"

Jesse chuckled and smoothed his hair back. "What do you want, Little Rockstar?" Jesse ruffled her hair and patted the seat next to him.

Lexi sat down and grinned, "Well, say that there might be a certain pair of shoes that a certain daughter of yours would like but she can't exactly afford them." Lexi leaned her head on her dads shoulder.

"How much?" Jesse asked with a sigh.

Lexi sighed and stood up putting her hands up. "Before I tell you the amount, remember how I got my hair dyed pink against my will and I'm passing History which is rare." Lexi stated.

Jesse rolled his eyes and placed down his guitar standing up. "How much?" He repeated.

"It's only $80.." Lexi trailed off clasping her hands together. Jesse raised his eyebrow and grinned. "a shoe.." Lexi pursed her lips.

Jesse thought for a moment and scratched his chin. "Alexis, you want me to pay a whopping $160 for a pair of shoes?" Jesse chuckled and went to check his hair in the mirror.

"Dad." Lexi whined and followed him. "Every kid in my grade is wearing them, since Monica's parents got divorced and Max started playing sports I haven't got many friends." Lexi scoffed.

"Lex, you have plenty of friends and shoes aren't gonna help get you get anymore." Jesse applied hairspray to his hair and smoothed it back once again.

"Okay, plan B." Lexi clapped her hands together as Jesse walked back to his bed. "What if you never have to pay for anything for me again." Lexi suggested.

"I like plan B so far." Jesse grinned and picked his guitar back up stroking some chords.

Lexi cleared her throat. "I could get a job." Lexi shrugged. "There's ice cream parlor at the mall their holding interviews next week. They pay like $8 an hour." Lexi begged.
