It was a normal Friday afternoon, Lexi was sitting at the bench outside their school. They were on their break for the day and she was sitting with her friends, all expect Noah who hadn't arrived yet.
"I then I said, 'If you want me to listen, teach something interest.'" Maya finished off her rant with a smirk.
"No way you said that to Mr. Castro." Lexi laughed.
"I did. Detention on Saturday." Maya rolled her eyes sipping her drink.
"Hey, have you guys seen Noah today?" Lexi asked and Max shrugged, Noah was usually with him.
"I saw him in Science so he's here." Monica nodded, and grabbed an apple from her bag.
Noah then came running over and they all smiled at seeing him "Hey guys." Noah waved.
"Hey, Noah." They all said.
"Where have you been, dude?" Max laughed softly giving him a fist bump.
"Sorry, I was with my girlfriend Lucy." Noah nodded, and Lexi's smile dropped. As did Maya and Monica's, they were all very confused.
"Wait, Lucy Parker?" Max asked.
"Yup." Noah nodded.
"Nice, dude." Max high-fived him.
"Um, guys I think I left something in the bathroom earlier." Lexi got up and Monica followed her.

Lexi sat on the floor of the bathroom with her knees to her chest. She was absolutely and utterly devastated, how could Noah do this to her?
"Lexi?" Monica crept in and saw her sitting on the ground "Are you okay?"
"No." Lexi muttered under her breath.
"Come on, I'm sure it was mistake." Monica helped her to her feet.
Lexi put her hands to her face and cried softly "I don't understand." Lexi cried and Monica rubbed her back "Why is he dating another girl and why does it have to be Lucy Parker! I thought he loved me!" Lexi sniffled.
"Well, you guys weren't really dating... were you?" Monica fiddled with her fingers.
"Well, no, not exactly. But it sure felt like it. Oh my god, I made this all up in my head didn't I?" Lexi gasped and held her hands to her head "Ugh, I'm such an idiot!"
"No you're not." Monica rubbed her shoulder "He was giving you a lot of signs. Do you want me too beat him up?" Monica put her hands up.
"No, no, no." Lexi lowered her fists "I'll talk to him, I guess." Lexi rubbed her arms.
"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" Monica questioned.
