DJ ran into Lexi's room with an excited look on her face.

"Lexi! Lexi! Lexi!" DJ came in slamming the door behind her.

"Maya, I'll call you back." Lexi hung up her phone and sat up on her bed. "Sit down. Gossip or boy trouble?" Lexi asked.

"Neither. I'm babysitting Brain Kagan on Friday night, wanna come for some extra bucks?" DJ nudged her. "Also, I don't wanna go alone." DJ admitted.

"Aww, that's so nice you thought you of me." Lexi put a hand to her heart. "And sure, I've had my fair share with babysitting and I could use the extra cash. Let me just tell my dad."

"My dad said maybe if I make enough money I can buy my OWN phone number." DJ added as the two got up from her bed.

"Awesome! No more Stephanie stealing your phone." Lexi noted.

"No, that's still gonna happen." DJ rolled her eyes.

After Lexi's dad had agreed it was finally Friday night. Joey was having some of his friends over for poker so it was good DJ and Lexi were out of the house.

The girls had arrived at Brian's house that night and his parents were getting ready to leave.

"Now, DJ, Lexi, we like Brian to go to by nine but sometimes his inner clock says ten so just go with his natural flow." Mrs. Kagan told the two.

"So he goes to bed whenever he wants?" DJ inquired.

"That's the rule." She nodded with a grin.

"Emergency numbers are posted on the Sub-Zero." Mr. Kagan told them referring to the fridge. "If our stockbroker calls tell him he can fax the information directly to our BMW." Mr. Kagan added.

"Brian, come say hello to DJ and Lexi!" Mrs. Kagan called for her son.

Brian then ran downstairs. "Hi, DJ. Hi, Lexi. We're going to have a lot of fun tonight." Brain politely greeted them with a smile.

"That's what we're here for." Lexi patted DJs shoulder.

"Bye, Brian." Mrs. Kagan waved.

"Night, Bri." Mr. Kagan also waved as the couple exited through the door.

"Bye, have fun at your costume party." DJ assumed giving their very eccentric party outfits.

"We're going to a Grateful Dead concert." Mr. Kagan laughed.

"Really? I thought those were sold out?" Lexi widened her eyes.
