"hey, rich!" eddie greeted as richie caught his eye. he offered the shorter boy a smile. eddie hugged him as they grew closer together. richie couldn't help but blush.

"heyo, eds," he said. once they pulled away, they stared at one another for a hot minute. not of hatred. or annoyance. with.. love? they call it?

"so," eddie said, breaking the silence, "wanna do anything specific?"

"make out," richie suggested, making a kissy face. eddie felt his face start to heat up, so he smacked his hand over richie's face and shoved it away so the taller boy wouldn't see.

"keep your sour tongue to yourself, buddy," eddie sighed, turning around, walking to the water, and sitting on a rock. richie followed.
