~ Inconsistencies.
When I started writing E & V I wasn't planning on continuing it as long as I did. I just wanted to practice my writing. I honestly didn't think it'd even get close to 500 reads. So I didn't really plan E & V very much, other than the actual plot. From the beginning chapters, I was just winging it as an experiment to see what I could come up with. Then I realised it actually was getting reads and supporters n I was like, ah shit, I need to be fr bout this now LMAOO. so I started planning properly.
But because I have edited none of my chapters yet and because I started properly planning out certain things later on, there are some inconsistencies that I've noticed or people have pointed out.
1- Kelani doesn't have dimples, she has double smile lines on the corners of her lips. Alaiyah has dimples.
2- Alaiyah didn't commit through overdose. She jumped off a bridge by her house. Into a river not a dam, idk why I kept saying dam.
3- the butterfly tattoo Mateo has is on his right hand, not his left, finishing the full sleeve he has on the right arm. the mickey mouse silhouette tattoo is on his left forearm.
4- Mateos step dad / Justin's dad is named Dylan. I noticed I sometimes mixed him up with a character's name from my other book that starts with D, so it confused a couple of readers who picked up on it.
5- Kelani took her mum and uncle sams last name- Perez. I think I might've said Sams last name is 'Fernandez' somewhere, and that 'Perez' is her dads last name- that's wrong, like I said I started writing without a plan so I didn't really think about it. So Perez is Camilla's (Kelanis mum) last name and her brother Sams. Kelani and Alaiyah took their last name instead of their dads.
There may be more I need to find.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I know it's not ideal. But like I said, I literally made this account without thinking it would be anything and I damn well didn't think my first story to have as much attention even as close to it does now.
The story that I WAS planning, however, is still being written out and something I have been planning for a while. So I tend to confuse some characters' names or characteristics with the ones in E&V.
I promise I'll thoroughly edit these and everything when I get the time, with university and home issues, it's tough for me to even get out a chapter these days. But once I'm on my end of year break, I will definitely edit the story.
