Hello, and thank you for requesting a review from me, like you asked I focused on pacing, readability, and overall impression of the story.

Set for a millionaire life, June has one last summer before she gets married to a seemingly perfect guy and must maintain a perfect wife role. Thankfully she can spend that summer on Dolphin Coast, hot weather, warm beaches, and her best friend Pearl by her side. But as the first night brings brooding handsome stranger Nate, June has a hard time maintaining her perfect fiance appearance.

The first look at the book is the cover and this one is truly amazing, it represents the story and genres perfectly, great job! The story description is not too bad as well, it's good when it comes to June's side of the story. But since the book has a dual POV I would suggest adding something about Nate. When the point of view switched I was confused because there is no mention of him so I was not sure what his "deal" was in this story.

The story flows well–it's easy to understand and get into. The comedic parts are easily related to and make the characters feel more real. I enjoyed both points of view, though June's parts felt a bit more info-dumpy. Those parts are about Dean, we don't really meet him but there are scenes like throwbacks and they sometimes disrupt the flow. Though they are useful in understanding June and her character.

The story pacing is adequate so far at least, we get to meet both characters and know them before they meet each other. As I mentioned throwback with Dean sometimes feels out of place and June's past seems a bit rushed, though it is explained in a way that is easy to follow.

The technical side of the story is suitable as well, though there are a few missing commas and misspelled words but nothing major and not very noticeable. I understand that the drunk talk between June and Sam was purposely written so it would seem like they were drunk, and that is the only part I didn't enjoy. I do understand the point of it and in a way, it adds to comedy but that is a very personal preference for me, although other readers might love it.

I loved the story descriptions, and this is where the majority of the writer's wit and fun side shows up. It is very easily understandable and readers can easily imagine the scenes. The chapter length is good as well, though there are a few bulkier paragraphs that could be split so it would be more easy to read.

The story is very easygoing and fun to read, and honestly, there is nothing too critical I can say, so keep up the good work! You will find more readers eventually.

I would rate this story four out of five stars. The book is light and comedic but as a reader, I would personally prefer slightly darker subjects.

I would recommend this book to rom-com readers and people who enjoy vocational romance stories.
