Her Forgetful Mate

Chapter 1

I'm Aurora, and I'm a werewolf. I'm in the Silver Moon pack. My parents are Anthony Cellar, head of warriors and Judith Cellar, head of our pack medical. I'm a twin as well. My sister is Adora. She is my best friend in this whole world. We are about to have our 18th birthday. She is already a great warrior and I'm going to go to school to be a pack doctor. Our schooling is different than humans. We have grade school and high school in our packs. Smaller packs will go to their local human school, and no, humans don't know about us. For college, we only go if needed. Doctors or teachers mainly. And it isn't as long as human college. To become a doctor for a pack you take classes for 3 years and intern for one year. My aunt and uncle live in a pack known for their college for pack doctors so that is where I'll go. I won't join their pack but their alpha will allow me to stay with them for my schooling. I'm very excited.

Now, for us werewolves, we get our wolf at 16, mine is named Flora, and can sense our mates once we turn 18. 18 is just two days away for me and my sister. We have a tradition for our birthday that our parents take us camping. Where we go is in a neutral area for packs and humans also camp there, so we have to be careful if we want to shift for a run.

We are getting ready to head that way now. 18 is going to be a great year.
