A/n: it was requested in the comments of the part 2 :)

You were sitting on the hood of your car, Natasha bought you a new car after your encounter four years ago as she promised. Now you were the owner of an incredibly good-looking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro all black. You weren't stupid you know that it must have been expensive and to this day you still didn't know why she did this. Your old car wasn't worth more than 10k.

You quickly learn how comfy the hood was when you started to watch the stars on it, it quickly became one of your favorite things to do. Sometimes Natasha would join you and you would drink beers and smoke until the sun was up. But now Natasha wasn't here anymore she gave her life for that goddamn stone and the last thing she said to you was "See you in a minute.".

But she never came back and now you were drinking alone once again. You knew you should've left like you said you'll do, but instead, you stayed. You failed to bring back everyone multiple times but you stayed with Natasha, maybe because she grew on you, that little shit knew how to push all your buttons but she was always there when you needed someone.

"Where are you now Romanoff? Uh!? You fucking promised!" You yell getting off your car to throw your bottle of beer off the cliff, you felt so lonely at the moment. She was your person for four years and now she wasn't here anymore and you weren't sure if the Avengers brought everyone back.

You left as soon as Clint came back alone, you couldn't bear seeing their sad face when they were the ones leaving her alone at the compound for five years. They didn't know how she felt like she failed the world, they didn't know about Yelena, or all the nights you spent talking about Wanda with her.

Wanda, you wanted to be there for her but you weren't an Avengers this was too much for you. You just prayed that they did bring everyone back. You forgave her, years ago when Natasha came to find you. Now more than ever after feeling the pressure that is saving the world.

You sit back down leaning on your car with your phone in hand, waiting for a sign, a phone call from here or Steve or your sister even just something to tell you that Natasha didn't die in vain.

You light a cigarette again the wait was killing you, while you were exhaling the smoke you hear a car come to a stop near yours. You get up and throw the cigarette on the ground making sure that it was off before walking to the red car. Your right hand stays on the gun hidden in the waistband at your back, Natasha was maybe gone but she did teach you a lot of things in the four years you lived together.

A redhead, that you knew too well, get out of the car in a hurry. Your hand fell from the gun to your side in shock. "Wanda?"

"Steve told me you'd be here." She sighed in relief she hasn't seen you in two years, well for her it's been two but for you it's been seven. You noticed the remaining tears on her dirty cheeks but nothing could overlook the smile on her face at seeing you. "Well, I guess he was right." You answered awkwardly.

"I'm sorry about what happened, I'm lost in the timeline but Strange told us it's been so long for you." She rushes to you and you open your arms willingly. Having Wanda in your arms after so long feels amazing, it brings you the same comfort as it did before. " I guess I'm older than you now." You chuckled wetly, you didn't even realize you were crying.

She laughs with you tightening her grip on you as if she was afraid to let go. "God I love you so much." You gasp in surprise because with everything that happened it was the first time she told you that. "I love you too." You pull away to kiss her, your thumbs stroking her cheeks to wipe the tears.

You stay in her embrace for quite some time before either of you wanted to separate. She finally pulls away with a small frown. "Cigarettes really taste bad." You look at Wanda incredulously before laughing again, seven years and that's what's bothering her. Who are you kidding you already decided to quit smoking the second you saw her frown.

"I want to leave." You blurt out your hands wrapping around her waist. "Just you, me, and a normal life." The now redhead thinks for a second before nodding eagerly.

And that's what you did ten years ago. You got in your car and left only coming back for Natasha's funeral. The people looking for you, probably Clint and Steve, found a letter in Wanda's car.

To whoever finds this first,

I left with Y/n, we're both well and safe,
we want a normal life and it can't be possible
here with the reminding of everything that we
were. We'll come back eventually but for now
don't come looking for us.

With love Wanda.

You started by driving to your sister's house, you wanted to make sure they were fine and that nobody took their house. You stayed there for two months to help them make some repairs, five years without anyone in it and it got all dusty and moldy.

Then you chose to drive around staying in small towns for a few months, getting temporary jobs in libraries or restaurants. Seven years ago you decided to settle down in Illinois where you bought a small cottage on a farm. Wanda was happy enough with gardening and taking care of the animals.

Two years later you finally got married Clint and his family were here as well as Yelena who had visited you a few times after her attempt at murdering the archer. They were one time when she drop a puppy-eyed black-haired archer and since then the girl never left the farm. You took Kate under your wing after you learned what her mother did.

"Natasha, please put some clothes on!" You hear Kate yell and then see her running after a very naked four years old fresh out of a bath. You feel hands wrap around your torso and lean against the embrace. "We shouldn't have named her after the little shit, see how she's turning out." You say with a pout on your lips.

"I'm mostly certain our daughter is taking after you. Independent, clumsy, and strong-headed woman doesn't ring any bell? And stop lying to yourself you loved the woman like a sister." Wanda chuckle kissing your shoulder, you hummed in approval. "That's what I say, she was annoying. And I was taller than her."

She pulls away and slaps your butt on her way to save Kate from your daughter. "Come here, you cheeky little girl." Your wife says playfully after she wrapped a towel around Baby Natasha. You smile at the scene in front of you, Kate gasping dramatically with her hands on her knees after running, your wife and daughter laughing together.

The only missing person makes his absence known with small cries from the living room. You walk toward the almost one-year-old lying in his playmat with Lucky, Kate's dog, next to him. "Hey buddy, you're missing all the fun aren't you." You cooed at Pietro taking him in your arms.

It was good, the normality of all this felt comforting.
