Spooky Halloween (SJ)

"Candy!" Rose yelled running down the stairs, she was excited to go fetch some candy and so were you that's why you're following her with a grin as big as hers. "Come on babe we have to go otherwise every kid will have all the candy."

"Are we doing that for them or you?" She asked smugly with a toddler pumpkin in her arms. You ignore her for the sake of your marriage and follow rose to put on your shoes. "Everyone out." You said opening the door.

"One Ravenclaw which, one Pumpkin, one sexy sexy Lucifer." You enumerated giving a kiss to Scarlett once she pass you to go outside. "Still can't believe you went in Wanda."

"Don't be jealous. I told you we can only have one Black widow per family, and Lizzie send me her costume it's just so cool." You explained taking her hand after locking the door behind you. "Mama dow' " Oliver whined wanting to follow his big sister.

Scarlett let him down gently making sure that Rose was fine with holding his hand as he only was two and she was eight. "Look at them." You smooch your cheeks together cooing.

"I think you already ate too much candy." She chuckled swinging your hands together slightly while you walk. "You can never eat too much candies."

You went from home to home the bucket of candy getting bigger every time the kids came back. Other families and children run around happily all excited about the holiday. "This is it guys, the scariest house of the town." You whispered crouching down between them.

"Why?" Rose asked curiously but a bit afraid, she moves closer to you holding on to your knees. "We say that on every 31st October the spirit of the old lady comes back to haunt every kid that knocks on the door."

"Love stop scaring them." Your wife scolds you slightly but you only grin mischievously in answer. "It's up to you if you're brave enough to go there."

"Mama up 'cary, up, up." Oliver runs into Scarlett's arms who send you a pointed look but picks him up anyway. "I swear Y/n if he has a nightmare tonight you're the one taking care of him."

"I will, I will. So Rose what do you say? Wanna go have more candies?" You asked your daughter waiting for her to make the choice. "Will you come with me, mommy?"

"Always." You answered holding out your hand. You let Rose lead the way walking slowly toward the supposed haunted house. The light inside the house flickered now and then and the stairs of the porch creak with every step. Rose knocks hesitantly on the door while you walk a few steps back taking your phone out to film. "I-I don't think anyone's here."

"Are you afraid?" You taunted your daughter chuckling at her stubborn face. Rose rings the bell in a spit of bravery after no answer she was about to turn around but the door opens slowly letting the darkness of the house spread outside. A chill run down your spine even though you knew it was an act.

"Ah!" Rose yelled when a white blurred pass through the small gap in the door. It's suddenly open and a decapitated man hurls outside. "Mommy!!." Rose fired hiding behind you.

You couldn't help but burst out laughing, you take her in your arms to comfort her. "It's only a disguise look." You explained softly whipping her hair out from her forehead, the man take off his costume revealing the face of your soccer coach.

"Thanks for that one coach, it was so funny." You thank the man. A week ago you talked with him explaining that you wanted to scare Rose a little for Halloween and he absolutely loves the holiday so he has volunteer to help you. "Any time Y/l/n, here I think you deserved these dear." He hands Rose a fistful of candy.

"And take those for you brother." After another fistful of candy, Rose runs up to Scarlett leaving you alone with your coach. "Thanks again coach it was awesome, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Don't be late." He warned you with a wink, you make your way back to your family. "So who wants to continue on our spooky night?!" You asked excitedly and both Oli and Rose raised their hands.

"Come on then so much candy left." You take both of their hand and started running to the next house, Scarlett follows slightly less fast. "Rose can you take Oli to the next house I'll be waiting here."

"Okay, mommy. Come on Oli." Rose and Oliver went to the house while you wait for Scarlett with your arms open. She turns around to rest her back against your chest and observes your two children talking with wide smiles on their faces. "I love you." Scar mumbled when she feels you kiss her hairline.

"Love you too wifey." You feel her shivers in your arms which makes you react immediately by stroking her arms up and down. "We won't be too long."

"No! No, I just want to see them smile. We can stay for a little while longer." Scarlett protests turning her face to look at you, you sigh at her puppy dog's eyes but nod nevertheless.

After a while outside you come back home with two buckets full of candies. "Here we put them in common on the middle of the table, we can share now."

Rose nods emptying her bucket on the table soon followed by Oliver's. "There's so much." She squeals happily hugging your waist.
