     Airy.

Your new companion ever since you arrived in this forest in the middle of nowhere. You arrived here by dying. It was caused by an accident while you were on a trip with your family. It happened so fast; you honestly didn't realize you died. You instantly teleported in a colorful room with two chairs and a radio on a table. As you walked, it felt like walking on air. It was peaceful. The only sound was the static from the radio, which was... oddly calming.

You sat down on one of the chairs in shock, not being able to react to what just happened. You sat for a few minutes until it all came crashing down on you. Where were you? Where's your family? What happened? Tears started to fill your eyes as you realized it was only you here. You were alone. For eternity.

You turned to your side, finally noticing the radio next to you. You began to mess with it since it was the only thing here to do. You turned the knobs as millions of numbers appeared on the screen. You put your hand on the antennae, not aware of what was about to happen. As you lifted it up, you instantly teleported to a forest.

Trees surrounded you as you looked around. "Hello?" You called out into the endless trees. You stood up as you started walking in a random direction. "Is anyone there?" You called out again, not really expecting a reply.

"Uh... hi?" A deadpan voice replied. You instantly turned around to be met with a copper trawler lantern. Half of his face was cracked. He looked at you with a stoic expression. You noticed he had a basket of reeds in his hand. "How... did you... get here?" he asked.

"I don't know." You replied. "I was with my family then I was in a room with a radio then I messed with the radio and now I'm here!" You said, starting to freak out again. Tears started to fill in your eyes as you remembered your family. Will you ever see them again? Are they looking for you?

"Oh." was all he said. He pointed his thumb behind him. "I guess you can stay with me in the meantime." He started to walk back to where he came from. You followed behind him as he walked.

"So... how long have you been here?" You asked as you both walked. The walk was completely silent, so you decided to make a conversation with him to get to know him better. You realized you didn't even know his name yet.

"I'm not... sure." he said. "Maybe 10 years or so, give or take." he replied without any emotion.

10 YEARS!? Hearing that, you immediately started to lose hope of anybody finding you or getting out at any chance. Were you really going to spend your whole life here? You hugged yourself. There was awkward silence again, so you asked another question.

"What's your name?" You asked. "Mine is (Y/n)."

He suddenly stopped. "... Airy." he replied as he continued again.

     Strange.

     ☁️

You both finally arrived at Airy's place. If you could even call it that. There was a wooden cabin and a cave with vines covering the entrance. Airy led you over to the cabin. You sat down on the bed of wood in the corner of the cabin. Looking around the room. you noticed the cabin had no windows and there was a single table with a chair. On top of the table was a cassette player.

"I'm going out to get reeds... for bedding." Airy said, standing in the doorway.

"Can I come with you?" You asked him. You really didn't want to be left alone right now. So much was happening in one day and being in an endless forest by yourself did not calm your nerves.
