     Two had given us the challenge to protect this funny plant. Seems easy, right? 

     Wrong.

     Lightning had wanted to touch the plant, finding it cute but he accidently zapped it, making its health drop to 15%. Everyone had gotten mad at him and forced him to leave. Everyone had agreed to send him back except you. Unfortunately, you didn't voice your opinion because you were shy type. You were scared to voice your opinions or talk to anybody really.

     You honestly felt bad how everyone just turned on him. Sure, he could've costed us the challenge, but it was an accident and he promised to be more careful. You wanted to go back and comfort him, but you had to stay here with your team and protect this plant.

     You admit you loved Lightning's energetic personality and have always wanted to talk to him. The thing is you're the complete opposite. You're quiet and you keep to yourself. Though, Lightning had made some attempts to talk to you. You of course talked to him back, but you were soft spoken and kept it short. If you guys ever talked it would always be him starting it. You hope that he doesn't think that you don't like him because it's the exact opposite.

     You love him.

     The challenge had ended. Your team and Just Not's team is up for elimination. We thought we had this in the bag, but Puffball somehow was able to teleport to our biome. She also managed to drag Ice Cube into this. She buried Ice Cube into the ground and forced our team into cutting our funny plant so we could save Ice Cube since our team is all about preventing death.

     Anyway, since the challenge is over, you decided you will muster up some courage to talk to Lightning. You wanted to offer some comfort to him since our whole team literally just threw him out. 

     You look around before you finally spot him. He's reasonably sad. You see him sulking while he floats idly. Just looking at the sight makes your heart want to break. You sigh as you start to make your way over to him, hoping you can make his mood change.

     "H-hey, Lightning." You say softly, mentally facepalming for stuttering on the first word.

     Lightning turns around to face you. His eyes widen as he sees you but quickly go back to its sadden state. "Oh! Hey, (O/n)." He replies glumly.

     "I'm... sorry about the way our team treated you." You say.

     He sighs before crossing his arms. "It's fine, I guess."

     "No." You say, making his eyes widen in curiosity. "We're a team and we should've worked as a team. I'm sorry I didn't stick up for you. If I hadn't been so scared I would've-!"

     "Hey."

     You stop and look him in the eyes.

     "Like I said, it's okay. I'm fine." He continues. "I'm just glad you had some faith in me." He smiles.

     You smile back at him and bring him into a hug. You can feel the heat radiate off of him as both of your faces heat up. After a few seconds, you both separate but you both secretly wish it lasted longer.

     "Hey, (O/n)... I think I have something to tell you." Lightning says shyly, blushing as he puts an arm behind him.

     "Yes, Lightning?" You reply.

     "I like, really like you..." He admits timidly, his face flushed in a darker hue of yellow. "Like, really, really like you."

     Heat rushes to your face. "Lightning... I-I like you too." You also admit.

     "Oh my cloud! Really?" He says excitedly.

     You nod. He smiles widely before bringing you into a kiss. You were shocked at the sudden gesture, but you quickly melt into the kiss. The both of you then separate due to the lack of air, but the both of you are content.

     The both of you lean into each other as you both watch the sunset.

     "I love you, (O/n)."

     "I love you too, Lightning."
