     Leafy has been ignoring you.

     She's always trying to get on Firey's good side even though he's clearly not interested. You always try to get her attention but of course she doesn't notice. You've been with her from the start. Even when she stole Dream Island, you were there! You get that she's trying to be friends with everyone and be nice, but it hurts that she doesn't even acknowledge you anymore.

     You loved it when she was so kind and caring towards you. You loved it so much that you developed a crush on her. You both were always there for each other even when everyone hated her. People also started to hate you too when they found out you hung out with her.

     But you didn't care.

    But it seems that meant nothing to Leafy. She's always around Firey now. You honestly think that she might have a crush on him, ruining your chances of ever getting with her.

     You sulk as you think about this. Tears start pricking at your eyes, but you quickly wipe them away, not wanting anybody see you like this. You then start to look around before spotting Leafy... with Firey, as always.

     Suddenly, a rage fills you. You've had enough of this. You've decided you're going to confront her about this because it seems she's not even aware of your feelings at all. So much for being nice.

     You angrily make your way towards Leafy. Your fists are in a ball while your eyebrows are furrowed. You're going to give this leaf a piece of your mind.

    "Leafy." You say, standing behind her.

     Leafy turns around, smiling. "Oh! Hello, (O/n)!" She greets happily. "Are you in need of my assistance?"

     Firey looks relieved as Leafy's attention is on you now. He quickly tries to leave but Leafy turns around, catching him. "Firey, where are you heading off too?"

     I clench my teeth. "LEAFY!"

     Leafy quickly turns around. "Woah! (O/n), are you okay?" She says, worried.

     You sigh. "No, listen. We need to talk, okay?" You tell her. Firey quickly takes this chance to leave.

     "What do we need to talk about?" Leafy asks, tilting her head.

     You take a deep breath. "About us. About you and Firey. About everything."

     Leafy frowns. "What do you mean? There's nothing to talk about."

     You shake your head, facepalming. "Don't play dumb with me, Leafy. I know what's going on. You've been ignoring me for weeks. You've been spending all your time with Firey. You've been acting like I don't exist."

     Leafy looks hurt. "That's not true, (O/n)! I've been helping everyone and making friends!" She says. "And Firey is just a friend! Nothing more!"

     You roll your eyes. "Yeah, right! A friend who you're always with 24/7, laughing with and complimenting. A friend who you're clearly in love with."

     Leafy gasps. "In love with? (O/n), that's ridiculous! I don't love Firey like that! We're just getting along! He's not even my type!"

     You snort. "Not your type? Then what is your type, Leafy? Someone who's loyal, supportive, and caring? Someone who's always there for you no matter what? Someone who loves you more than anything?" You say, hurt in your voice as these words escape you.

     Leafy blinks. "What are you talking about, (O/n)?"

     You sigh. "I'm talking about me, Leafy. I'm talking about how I feel about you." You explain, face heating up in embarrassment.

     Leafy stares at you in shock. "You...you feel...?" She says, a blush on her face.

    You nod. "Yes, Leafy. I have a crush on you. I've had a crush on you for a long time. Ever since we met on the island. Ever since we became friends. Ever since we stole Dream Island together."

     Leafy's mouth drops open. "You...you do?"

     You nod again. "I do. And it hurts me so much to see you with Firey all the time. It hurts me to see you ignore me and act like I don't matter to you anymore." You say, pouring your heart out. It doesn't matter anyway she probably going to reject you.

   Leafy looks at you with tears in her eyes. "Oh, (O/n). I'm so sorry. I didn't know you felt that way."

     You turn away from her. "Well, now you do."

     It's silent for a few seconds until Leafy breaks the silence. 

     "(O/n). I... I like you too." She says.

     You quickly turn around to face her, shock evident on your face.

     She looks at you with a guilty expression.

     "I'm sorry, (O/n). I'm sorry for ignoring you and hurting you. I was so focused on making everyone like me... I abandoned you."

     You bring her into a hug. She starts to sniffle.

     "It's okay, Leafy." You tell her. "It's in the past, now we have each other."

     "Yeah. You're right, (O/n)." She replies.

     You smile and bring each other into a kiss.

     She kisses you back and wraps her arms around you as you both now lay on the grass.

     "Would you be my girlfriend, (O/n)?" She asks you.

     You smile. "I will."

     You both feel warm in each other's arms.
